ETSY Test going well
.
This was just an experiment I was trying. My store less than two weeks old but it’s been averaging about a sale or two. People really do just buy digital files. People really do just buy anything that solves their problem. It's one of the easiest things to make and mydesigns.io made it easy to lock in. Stats ain’t crazy but we building. Good to know things are possible when you find the right angle to work. Going to see how to build more from here. Simple.

Jobs ≠ Stability (and Here’s Why I Said What I Said About Tabitha Brown)
I understand what she’s saying. She’s not telling people to quit their dreams, she’s saying “pay your bills while you build.” Cool. Got it. But here’s where I disagree and why I made my post: đŸ‘‰đŸŸ It’s 2025. The job market is NOTHING like when Tabitha was driving Uber back in 2017. Back then, you could hop in your car and make cash the same day. Now? Uber barely covers gas, and traditional jobs aren’t stable either. We’re at 2M+ unemployed (probably more if we’re being real), and it’s hitting Black folks especially Black women the hardest. đŸ‘‰đŸŸ Jobs don’t = stability. You can get hired today and laid off tomorrow. So telling someone “go get a job” isn’t the magic fix it sounds like. đŸ‘‰đŸŸ It’s not your work ethic it’s your strategy. Most struggling entrepreneurs I see don’t lack grind, they lack systems. And if you take the same energy you’d put into clocking shifts at a job and invest in coaching, mentorship, or the right digital playbook you can build something sustainable without waiting on HR to maybe call you back in 6 months. đŸ‘‰đŸŸ No Plan B. The second you run back to a job “just for now,” you risk getting too comfortable with paychecks, drained of time/energy, and your business gets pushed further down the road. So yes entrepreneurship ain’t for everybody. But for the ones who chose it? You chose it for a reason. Let’s stop acting like a job is the only “responsible” safety net. It’s 2025. That net has holes in it. 💬 What do y’all think? Does Tabitha have a point for “side hustles first,” or do you agree jobs aren’t the safety blanket people think they are? Lets chat Link to video

Your posts are always mind blowing! Thks Fully agree, working for someone else and hoping, it will last, is no more the truth.
Consistency Doesn’t Have To Look Cute! It Just Has To Be Consistent
I went live late last night talking about digital products, and this came up heavy consistency. Too many beginners think consistency = showing up at the same time, every day, polished, perfect Nah. Consistency means you keep showing up. Even if it’s messy. Even if it’s late. Even if you’re tired. Your brain loves excuses. I’ll wait til tomorrow when I’m more energized. But tomorrow turns into next week. Next week turns into I fell off but I’ll restart in January. And now you’re back at zero. The end goal is income + freedom, not looking Instagram perfect every single day. Consistency can look like: - Going live at midnight in a hoodie - Posting content from your phone while waiting for your Uber - Dropping emails with typos that STILL get sales That’s still better than being “perfectly absent.” Drop a ⚡ if you’re committing to your own version of consistency this weekend! messy, late, tired, whatever. Just show up.

Well I am not really consistent. I really have to stay focused. As you said later is never :(
Why People Buy Based on Urgency
most people don’t buy because they’re “ready.” They buy because the clock is ticking. - Loss Aversion (Robert Cialdini): People fear missing out more than they desire gain. $1 lost hurts more than $1 gained feels good. - Instant Gratification: When urgency is attached, the brain shortcuts the let me think about it loop. - Scarcity Principle: If something feels limited (time, spots, supply), people assume it’s more valuable. - 48 Laws of Power (Law #45): Change must feel urgent. If people think they can wait, they will. 💡 Examples: - Black Friday sales work because you know that TV will be gone at midnight. - Concert tickets sell out faster when there’s a “last chance” countdown. - Digital products? Same rules apply. Add urgency and people move. Remove it, and they scroll. ⚡ Quick Action Tip: When you make an offer, add one urgency lever: - Time (Ends tonight at midnight) - Quantity (Only 20 spots left) - Price (Price goes up after Sunday) Without urgency, people push decisions to “later.” And later = never. Beginner Friendly Platforms to Sell Digital Products
If you’re starting out, don’t overcomplicate it with fancy $300/month platforms. You don’t need Kajabi, Clickfunnels, Go High Level or a whole tech degree to make your first $100–$1,000 online. Here are 3 platforms I recommend for beginners: 1ïžâƒŁ Gumroad ($0) - Free to start - Takes a % of each sale (so you pay when you earn) - Simple checkout pages, digital delivery is automatic - Great for ebooks, templates, mini courses 💡 Action Tip: Add a “pay what you want” option sometimes buyers will pay more than your listed price. 2ïžâƒŁ Stan Store - Monthly fee ($29, $99) - Looks like a link in bio but actually runs your business - You can sell digital products, book calls, host workshops, and take payments all in one place 💡 Action Tip: Pin your Stan link in your TikTok bio + call it out verbally in Lives. 3ïžâƒŁ Beacons - Free & paid plans ($0, $10, $30) - Link in bio tool with checkout + email capture - Easy to set up and customize - Good middle ground if you’re testing waters before investing in heavier tools 💡 Action Tip: Add your freebie at the top of your Beacons page to start building your email list. 👀 The Point: Don’t stall your business trying to figure out the “perfect” platform. Choose one, upload your product, and start selling. You can upgrade later when you’ve got consistent sales. Which platform are you currently using?
