Last Friday we had a Q&A call inside YouTube to Skool. Seven or eight people on a Zoom grid, just talking. I shared my screen, showed a few things I was working on, and posted the replay after. Normal call. Nothing special about it. That call is now a four minute and fifty six second soon to be published YouTube video. I did not edit it. Here is what I mean by that. I have years of calls sitting on a hard drive and in Google Drive. Workshops, group calls, coaching sessions. Hours of stuff that is genuinely good and completely unusable, because turning an hour long grid call into something you would actually put on YouTube used to take a full day. So it just sits there. I would bet you have the same pile. This week I opened Claude Code and told it to go look at the call and find the best parts to repurpose for YouTube. That is close to the exact sentence I used. It read the whole thing. It did not have the tool it needed to pull the transcript, so it asked if it could install one. I said yes. Then it came back with the three best moments and asked which one I wanted. I picked the first one. Then I told it what I wanted it to look like. No other people in frame. Just me and the screen share parts, because that is where the teaching is. Clean up the audio. Do what you can with the resolution. The first version came back and I could barely see myself. Grid calls do that to you. When you crop one person out of a grid you are working with a tiny piece of the original, so blowing it up full screen looks rough. I told it that. It came back with a different layout that fixed it. Then it made the thumbnail. Pulled a frame straight out of the video. Wrote the description. Dropped the whole thing in a folder on my desktop with the title, the thumbnail, the video and the description sitting there ready to upload. I also had it cut a short out of a completely different workshop. Split screen, the teaching slide on top, me on the bottom, that format you have been seeing everywhere.
