When staying put starts costing more than moving forward
Most capable entrepreneurs are hesitating, not STUCK. Not because they donโ€™t know what to do. But because the business currently depends on them more than it should. So they pause: - on hiring - on investing - on making the move they know they need - on mentorship They pause because the next level feels heavier than the last one because it's unknown. Hereโ€™s the reframe I want you to sit with: As an entrepreneur, the problem isn't ambition, it's the cost of how youโ€™re achieving it. If staying โ€œas isโ€ has started to feel expensive, in energy, time, or life, thatโ€™s not something to push through. Thatโ€™s something to redesign. And if you're feeling it, maybe it's your time to make moves. Anyone relate to this?

@Patty Hansen I relate to this!!
Something Iโ€™ve been reflecting on after last weekโ€™s in person event:
Most entrepreneurs donโ€™t struggle because they lack discipline and they definitely don't lack ideas! They struggle because theyโ€™re trying to make decisions without clarity. Once clarity hits, everything accelerates... decisions, systems, even revenue. Then it feels lighter, not heavier. Iโ€™m curious: Where do you feel the most friction right now in your business? โ€ข Making decisions โ€ข Knowing what to prioritize โ€ข Translating effort into results Or maybe just shutting down the noise? Drop it below โ€” I want to see the patterns.

FOR LOCAL
I havenโ€™t promoted inside this space but wanted to share- But since there are several of you here who are local, I wanted to share this in context. On Thursday morning Iโ€™m hosting a small, in-person event for entrepreneurs. This isnโ€™t a motivational workshop. And itโ€™s not about adding more tactics. Itโ€™s about stepping outside the bottle long enough to see:โ€ข whatโ€™s misalignedโ€ข whatโ€™s overbuiltโ€ข and where effort is leaking instead of compounding. Or maybe it will show you where it's going well and you're on the right track. Iโ€™m attaching the flyer below so you have the details.

What questions do you have for a bookkeeper?
Looking foward to giving a 10 minute power point in a few weeks. What questions would you have for a bookkeeper?

Patty! This is such a great question to put out here. I know people have some questions.

This is such a good question, and Iโ€™ll add this for anyone reading: Most owners donโ€™t know what to ask a bookkeeper until something feels off. Common things I hear in conversations:โ€ข โ€œWhy does my revenue look fine but cash still feels tight?โ€โ€ข โ€œWhat numbers should I actually be watching weekly vs monthly?โ€โ€ข โ€œAt what point does DIY stop making sense?โ€ If any of those sound familiar, youโ€™re not behind โ€” youโ€™re normal.
A quick note
I want to take a minute to share about this space โ€” especially as more people find their way here. This is not a place to perform, or to โ€œhave the right answer.โ€ And itโ€™s definitely not a place to wait until things feel perfect before you speak. This space exists so you can:โ€ข notice patternsโ€ข ask better questionsโ€ข articulate what feels off (even if you canโ€™t name it yet) Most entrepreneurs stay quiet because they think they need clarity before they speak. In reality, clarity comes after you say the thing out loud. So hereโ€™s how to engage here:โ€ข short thoughts are welcomeโ€ข half-formed questions are welcomeโ€ข reflections > explanations If something resonates, a simple โ€œthis landedโ€ is enough. No pressure. No noise.Just proximity, perspective, and better thinking. Entrepreneurship can be tricky to navigate and it can feel lonely. My goal is to give you a place to throw things out there, feel supported and to see that this journey can truly be fun.
