Morning, friends
Morning, friends. ☕🤍 I’m heads-down finishing our very first lesson this weekend (nervous-excited energy, not gonna lie). While I finish up — tell me something small that’s good today. Doesn’t have to be big. Coffee tasted right, sun’s out, kid slept through the night… whatever it is. Jonah finally got a job! He learned how to sign his name, learned about paying taxes, and had a whole new world open up to him when I let him drive on the interstate to his favorite mall. 🥰

Something I keep coming back to lately: 🤍 “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 Some days that verse feels like rest. Other days, if I’m honest, “being still” feels like the hardest thing I could possibly do. If you’ve got a verse that’s been sitting with you lately — good, hard, confusing, whatever — drop it below. Be still and know has been my saving grace since I was probably in my early 20’s. Way before, it was put ok plaques and signs. It got me through every trial and kept me from being so stressed during them. I feel such a calming peace with that verse. I usually just need to hear Be Still and I’m good. I may just not be listening for it lately. The other one is Jeremiah?? For I know the plans I have for you… this verse me got me through the after part of Be still. The part when you realize your whole life has ended and a new one begins. Ugh! That’s the scary part. Without those two verses, Im not sure where I’d be now. My life has ended and started new so many times and just hearing the words made my stress left go from 10000% to 0. I don’t know what I’m missing now though.
