Something I keep coming back to lately:
Something I keep coming back to lately: 🤍 “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 Some days that verse feels like rest. Other days, if I’m honest, “being still” feels like the hardest thing I could possibly do. If you’ve got a verse that’s been sitting with you lately — good, hard, confusing, whatever — drop it below. I’d love to see what’s speaking to you right now. Lesson 1 is almost here. Thank you for being patient with me. 🕊️

Here’s what I think you’re not missing — you’re just in a different room of the same house. “Be still” got you through the storm. Jeremiah 29:11 got you through rebuilding. But maybe right now you’re not in either of those seasons. Maybe you’re in the quiet after — the part nobody writes plaques about. The season of just… living in the new life those verses got you to. That’s not you losing your peace. That’s you graduating past the verses that got you here, and maybe not having found the ones for here yet. If it helps — some people find that season needs Psalm 23 (“He leads me beside still waters” — not stillness in a storm, but rest in an ordinary day) or Lamentations 3:22-23 (“His mercies are new every morning” — a verse for the mundane, not the crisis). You’re not missing your faith, friend. You’re just between chapters. And you already know how those end for you.
Your Midday Check-In 💛
However your day’s gone so far — full-speed or barely holding it together — this is your midday reminder: you don’t have to have it all figured out by tonight. You just have to keep showing up, one faithful step at a time. Take a breath. Drink some water. Let go of whatever you’ve been carrying since this morning. What’s one small win from your day so far, even a tiny one? Drop it below — let’s cheer each other on through the rest of it. 💛

Morning, friends
Morning, friends. ☕🤍 I’m heads-down finishing our very first lesson this weekend (nervous-excited energy, not gonna lie). While I finish up — tell me something small that’s good today. Doesn’t have to be big. Coffee tasted right, sun’s out, kid slept through the night… whatever it is. I’ll go first: we are heading to ride our bicycles along the beach and finally getting this space open for you. 🕊️ Drop yours below.

@Leslie Grussing this is so exciting. I bet he’s on cloud nine
Starting something real here.
If you’re reading this, you’re one of the first people in this space — and that means something to me. Real Talk Believer isn’t going to be a highlight reel. It’s going to be honest faith, honest struggle, and honest grace — the kind of conversation you’d have with a friend on the porch, not a sermon. So let’s start simple: drop one word in the comments for how you’re feeling today. Just one word. I want to know who’s here. Grateful you found this. Come as you are. 🕊️

. My heart is to help others find the positive in the negative, grow in faith, and draw closer to God—no matter where they’re starting from.
