It dawned on me that a lot of success using ChatGPT comes from telling it to adopt a particular persona and then providing it with detailed information about my plans. Suddenly, ChatGPT becomes a significantly better coder also rivaling Claude.AI. So, I did the same thing when coding, writing scripts, or building complex automation in AWS. I provided it with two pages of persona instructions to adopt, and I also included the following final paragraph: "When you answer my question, you need to do so in stages and detail, step by step. Then, ask me at the end if your solution has worked. If not, I will provide additional information so you can begin troubleshooting it. If your solution has worked, I will reply with 'done,' followed by 'next step, please.'" Doing it this way has helped me tame ChatGPT as an incredibly genius programmer, well-versed in a multitude of programming languages. Give it a try, and if you want a copy of my grand persona script, just hit me up.
