A huge congratulations to Ricky on the incredible journey he's been on. Like many people, COVID made him realise the risks of relying on a single income source. Having worked his way up from Quantity Surveyor to Commercial Director, he already had strong property and construction knowledge, but he wanted more security, more control over his future, and additional income streams. Ricky first discovered Assets for Life through a Facebook advert featuring Jamie York. He attended a Deal Packaging Saturday Summit, progressed to the 3-Day Property Bootcamp, and joined Jamie's Deal Packaging Academy. While he understood property well, he struggled to communicate with investors and convert opportunities into deals, which led him to join Masters of Influence with Nick Sturb and myself. After implementing the sales process, qualification calls, discovery calls, and investor-raising frameworks, everything changed. Ricky secured his first investor shortly after and went on to attract 7 investors within 12 months. He's since generated around £5 million worth of property deals, earned sourcing fees including an £8,000 BRRR deal, and built a growing deal sourcing business with a repeatable investor acquisition system. What I love most is that the results weren't just financial. Ricky gained confidence, improved communication with his wife and children, became more structured with his time, and is creating a future with more freedom and certainty. He often says he used to hope people wouldn't answer his calls. Today, he's confidently speaking with investors and creating opportunities because he developed the skills and took action. The lesson? Property knowledge alone isn't enough. Learning how to communicate, influence, and build relationships can completely transform your results. If Ricky's story inspires you, watch his full video and hear it directly from him. And if you're looking to start your own journey, attend the Deal Packaging Summit or Property Bootcamp, the same events that helped Ricky take his first steps. Congratulations again, Ricky. The community is proud of you! 👏
