Your participation is what is going to get you there.
For those members who aspire to one day not only be a published author but be a best seller, your participation with asking questions, seeking advice, and letting others critique your work is what is going to get you there. I would like to see more involvement in the group. What would inspire your participation? Don't be shy, let's see what you got or discuss your ideas. BE IN IT TO WIN IT

I’m in the process of writing several books, but I can’t get past Act II. It’s like I know what I want to happen, but every time I come up with ideas for how to unfold it, it becomes boring. It reads like homework or a checklist, or it loses the narrative promise, or it isn’t eventful enough. I was given the advice to focus on making readers connect with the character, because then it doesn’t matter what happens, but I find that untrue. I’m sure you’ve read stories where there seems to be no plot. I feel like I’ve read all the books, Save the Cat, Plot Basics, Story Engineering, and so on, but it’s like I’m still missing something. I’ve been at this for two years, tried coaches and freelancers, but I still struggle. I don’t know if I should just quit writing at this point.
