I have sold 3 cutting boards off of Next Door app. I have in the past sold a few off of Facebook.

Oscar I spent about an hour yesterday planing my mistakes so I could try again on the same boards. Save the mistakes and plane them out. I now have a lot of thin boards but they are useful.
Local meetings
I had seen a fiew folks on here talking about local people getting together and having hands on time with the machines. Going to each other's shops, and doing a cnc talk. Im really interested in this, how do I find local people that would also find value in this? Im located in southern oregon, and ready to start meeting other's in my area. Thank you. Josh

Josh get on Facebook and join cnc groups, especially the manufacturer of your cnc. They will have a group then cnc newbies and here in Skool. Some people are hard to convince to sound off but keep trying. Show some of your work and don’t be afraid of sharing your mistakes.
Groups.
Is it possible to see where everyone lives. On another site I started a group from my surrounding area of cnc users and we meet every once in a while to share knowledge of our work and help each other. We will go to different houses/shops and also are available via phone if someone has a problem. I for one live in central Texas between Austin and San Antonio.

@Josh Kitchen I would not charge but I would form a group first get it going and offer classes or an incentive to them for bringing others in. Let them furnish materials for the projects they want to do and need help for. After establishing a practice then if you have enough people post that you are going to start charging. I would not charge the original members. I would except donations for say electric and machine parts, bits and such.

Just an old man who like the smell of wood and a new challenge. Started out with a 3018 Yorahome and wore it out. Now using a fox alien 4040xe.
