A Lesson at the Doorway šŸ•øļøšŸž
Last night as I was locking my front door, I noticed a beautiful spider web stretched across the doorway through the window. I decided to go outside and look a little closer. Climbing nearby was a bright red ladybug. And in the spider web - a large spider. I tried to encourage the ladybug to move away from the web without disturbing the spider or its work. No luck. The ladybug kept moving in the opposite direction. Errrr. After a few more unsuccessful attempts, I said, ā€œBe careful,ā€ wished it well, and headed inside. Fast forward to this morning: Hubs asked if I could pop downstairs and grab the package on the front step. And as I walked down the stairs and looked through the window…the ladybug was exactly where I envisioned it might be. Right in the middle. I felt a little sad. Not because I did something wrong. Not because I should have tried harder. I had to sit with this feeling for a moment to understand the why of the sadness. Maybe it was a possibility unfolding - that I envisioned - I that attempted to navigate or guide and still was unable to change the outcome. How often do we do this in our own lives? We see someone heading toward a lesson they need to learn. We offer guidance. We offer support. We offer love. And then we have to let go. Kids. Partners. Clients. Colleagues. Friends. It’s hard right? One of the hardest parts of growth is realizing that seeing something coming does not make us responsible for preventing it. Sometimes the lesson is not about saving. Sometimes the lesson is about witnessing. Sometimes the lesson is about surrender. As we move toward the Full Moon in Sagittarius, consider: ✨ Where are you trying to control an outcome that is not yours to control? ✨ Where have you offered your wisdom, support, or love and now need to release? ✨ What might happen if you trusted the unfolding a little more? There’s also rich symbolism in lady bugs, webs and spiders…. šŸ•·ļøšŸ•øļøšŸž

See, this is exactly why I love this group. Not only have you shared an epic story filled with reflection, insight, and values, but you've also followed it up with ladybug and spider research! Where else do you get heartfelt personal growth, symbolism, and insect investigations all in one post? šŸžšŸ•·ļøšŸ˜‚
Anyone interested…
… in a one card draw using traditional playing cards? I’m looking to train my brain to translate traditional Rider Waite to playing cards. Been having fun with family using these cards… with the Joker coming out a lot, to make us laugh. If yes - provide a gif of your choice (I’ll take this as a yes) and put your question out to the Universe…and I’ll provide a one card reading to you over the next few days. šŸ˜€ā™¦ļø

Love this cardology message thread! I have a good friend who is really into using the playing cards, along with numerology and astrology. It's very interesting!
Full Moon in Sagittarius: Truth, Freedom & Perspective
We talked a little about the full moon earlier in the week... prepping for the moon, feeling the energy slide in each day and of course... crystals and moon water! :) A little more to open our awareness: - Sagittarius is the sign of the zodiac that is all about freedom, truth, perspective, loves philosophy, does not like 9-5 scheduling. If I see Sag in your 10th house (sometimes 9th) with your MC, I know that your career path will a) not include a traditional 9-5 OR it will, but you will save the heck out of that amazing PTO so you can take adventures, vacations, create memories! Plus the Sag's in my world LOVE shoes, funky cool clothing and being their beautiful eccentric selves. Nothing like Sag energy! - The Full Moon is the time where we release what is no longer serving us, clean out the fridge (pic to be posted in comments), declutter, release. We internalize what beliefs we have outgrown, we feel need to go within - becoming the Hermit a bit (from Tarot). But this moon is a little different. Some of us are experiencing waves of excitement, energy, let's have some fun (hello Sag energy)! When we combine Sag and this particular full moon, we get... restless, maybe impatient, possibly speaking before thinking, a desire for freedom, for authenticity - taking off the mask (all my ND folks out there know what I mean - unmasking when we get home is a relief sometimes!). We may want to learn more, to travel, to explore. Checking in with good ol' ChatGPT for a solid mantra for this weekend - it came in perfectly: "I release limitation and trust the adventure unfolding before me". This right here - couldn't be anymore on point with Sag Energy and Full Moon energy combined. How are you feeling? P.S. If you are local to the DMV area - consider joining @Bryony Blood at WooCon2026 this weekend! She has a few spots left and it will be a magical time (Full Moon) and event intertwined! Hello everyone! šŸ‘‹ I thought I'd introduce myself and share a little about my journey into the spiritual world. Looking back, my first spiritual awakening probably came when my grandmother passed away when I was around 12 in the early nineties. When I heard the news and came to terms for the first time with someone close to me dying, I instantly found myself connecting and talking with her. Long story short, she still pops by from time to time as a fly or occasionally a blue seahorse to let me know she's around or to provide a little validation. This may sound weird, but then, in this community, probably not! Years later, while living in Alaska during my college years, I experienced more awakenings. I became a guinea pig for someone practising Hands of Light healing, and around the same time, I bought my first Tarot deck while working in a bookshop. Both experiences opened doors that I couldn't quite close again. It was when I learned Reiki, however, that the veil really seemed to lift. During sessions, the people on the table and I would sometimes see, sense, or experience things that couldn't easily be explained. That's when I fully stepped into the woo-woo side of life that I think I always knew was there. Since then, I've spent many years reading Tarot, training as a Reiki Master, and deepening my spiritual practice. After the pandemic, I finally pushed myself to become more visible. I built a website, started attending spiritual events, began teaching, went live on social media, and now organise Tarot events and readings with other practitioners here in London. At this stage of my journey, I feel particularly drawn to developing the psychic mediumship side of myself. It's something that has always been present in the background, but I want to give it more space to grow, strengthen, and be explored with greater intention. I'm also interested in deepening my work with the Runes and, in the future, learning more about the Kabbalah and its connections to spiritual development and symbolism. There is SO much to learn!

@Stephen Mooney Your story is fascinating, and despite the hardships you've faced, I'm glad you're opening up and embracing your gifts. Jennie's space feels like such a safe haven for that kind of exploration and growth. It's really interesting that you experience smell in that way. I can get that too during readings and sometimes while meditating. I've noticed that since becoming more interested in essential oils, herbs, and cooking, my clairalience seems to have opened up more as well. Like any of the clairs, it's definitely a skill that can be nurtured, developed, and strengthened over time. I'm excited to see where your journey takes you with it.
