Experience: Haunted Old South Pittsburgh Hospital South Pittsburg Hospital, we were on the second floor where two hallways can be seen from one vantage point. As me and another volunteer were standing there, we were looking down the shorter hallway and seen a black shadow figure emerged from a room and moved in a horseshoe pattern across the hallway toward me and came within inches of my face. As it passed me, it turned into a white mist and disappeared down what is known as shadow hallway on the second floor. What I THINK it was: A shadow figure—possibly an intelligent or residual spirit manifesting visually and moving with intent. What it COULD of been: A intelligent being. I say that because it knew exactly where we were standing as it approached and it turned as if it hit a barrier when it got within inches of me. Experience: Waverly Hills During an overnight investigation at Waverly Hills Sanatorium (around early morning hours), I observed a woman in white standing near a doorway on the 4th floor. She had a distinct glow and appeared solid at first glance. As I moved closer—within approximately six feet—the figure disappeared. What I THINK it was: A full-body apparition—possibly an intelligent spirit manifesting visually, given the clarity, form, and proximity before it vanished. What it COULDbe besides that: Light source reflection (flashlight spill, moonlight, or ambient light catching dust, glass, or reflective surfaces) But, 3 of us (experienced paranormal investigators) seen the illuminated lady in white. So I stand on the experience as we all saw a full body apperition since we could make out her face, hair and clothing ect.... Experience: During a nighttime investigation on the Bell Witch Cave and Farm, while inside the replica cabin, a participant captured what appeared to be a full-body figure standing in the doorway. At the time, no one reported physically seeing a person there. The image shows a human-like form where the doorway opens into darkness, with the figure appearing more defined than the surrounding area.
