Motherhood Moment
This is a safe space 🤍 Take a moment to reflect: - One hard moment you experienced this week - One thing you’re currently holding emotionally or mentally You don’t need to filter your experience here. You’re safe to share here.

Something I've found difficult this past week is not wanting to connect with my kids as I think I should. We have been on holiday and although I want to be with my kids, I want them to play without me, in sight and close, but allow me to read or make my jewellery, which is my relaxing hobby. My husband is really good at playing with the kids, but I don't like it, and then I feel guilty. I tend to them all day in terms of feeding them, clothing them, cuddling them etc, but when they invite me to play, I always find an excuse not to. I'm not sure if I need to change. x

@Janarra Anderson thank you. Yes play = overstimulation! I’m very lucky as my husband is great on the whole play thing, he takes on the role and I feed us all and make sure everyone has clean clothes etc. team work 😊
Welcome to Ina Village 🤍
Welcome to Ina Village: A Free Community for Mothers Who Are Done Carrying It Alone. This is not a parenting group. This is not a space to perform fine. This is your village. 🌿 Ina Village is a free community created by Janarra Anderson — birth and postpartum doula, matrescence educator, and mother of four, for mothers who are exhausted in a way they can’t quite explain and ready to finally have language for what they’ve been living. Inside this group you’ll find: ✅ Weekly education on matrescence — the word that changes everything ✅ Real conversations about the mental load, the default parent pattern, and what real support looks like ✅ Access to the free Ina Circles every Tuesday at 2pm ET — community talk + Coming Back to Body somatic practice ✅ A matrescence classroom on Skool + YouTube — yours to access anytime ✅ A community of mamas who already know what you mean before you finish the sentence There are two rules here: 1. What’s shared in this village stays in this village 2. You never have to perform fine to belong here Everything is welcome. Come as you are. 🌿 “We don’t have a maternal weakness crisis. We have a maternal support crisis.” — Janarra Anderson, Ina Postpartum Collective

Hello, I am Lea, a Mum of 2 boys, soon to become 4 and 6 years old. I am 46, so an older Mum. I home-educate them and run 2 businesses. I believe families should stay together for as long as possible, especially when they are little, but without the support of a 'village' it's super tough. The cost of living is ridiculous and Im tired of constantly hustling for money. My boys just want my presence, but we have to earn to feed them and keep the roof over our heads. We are very lucky though, as our work does give us the freedom many people don't have. It's not easy though. Thank you for creating this space. x

Pagan-rooted, counsellor-led. If burnout has you disconnected, this is where empowerment begins — through ritual, nature, and the seasons.
