Upscaling Images for Free
I found this website that works well if you need to make images a higher resolution and don't want to pay for a tool to do it. https://www.stickermule.com/upscale

Distrokid vs Landr
I was going to switch to Landr from Distrokid and I no longer am. Here is why I'm staying with Distrokid: 1️⃣ - Cover licensing is horrible on Landr It is so much easier to secure a cover license on Distrokid. Landr has a one time fee of $15 instead of the yearly fee of $12 with Distrokid, but I have not had success pulling a license with Landr. 2️⃣ - The Upload Process The upload process on Landr is overly complicated and time consuming. I'm staying with Distrokid. What distributor are you using?

I used cdbaby like 100 years ago (back when people bought CDs) but distrokid is really easy to use IMO
Moody BRAAMS trick
Hey everyone, I’ve been experimenting with creating some dark, epic braam sounds for cinematic tracks and stumbled on a cool technique. I layered big strings, horns, and a couple of hefty synths, mixed them down into a single audio file, and then loaded it into Logic’s Alchemy sampler. This setup lets me use MIDI control, pitch bends, and more to really sculpt and warp the sound into something massive and dynamic. Anyway, here’s a track I put together using that method—hope you enjoy it! Cheers!

Thanks! I also found an AU buried inside apple's plugins in Logic called AUNewPitch which allows for pitch bending up to 4 octaves haha... so yeah things are about to get bendy around here..
mix and master on the same project
Question for the group.....Why is it so bad to mix and master on the same session? Newer computers seem to have enough power to process everything at the same time. If you get a solid mix you like in your DAW without any mastering plugins, then start mastering on the same project, why is that so frowned upon in modern recording?

I've been mastering in the same project. 99.99 percent of people arent gonna notice the difference between your master from within the mix file and the master that took another x amount of time (assuming you mix to spec and master well). The mastering assistant within Logic is actually crazy.. and generally if you mix well then you can just slap new-gen mastering stuff on the output and call it. Just my opin.
What's up everyone, I'm Lex
I'm currently moving around the country producing music for Earth Octaves and working remotely as a designer hoping to make music full time. Stoked for the upcoming content!
