Band visuals for a vocalist's solo project with only session musicians on tour?
Yo everyone! I'm Mike, a metal singer and producer from Apex, NC, originally from Ukraine. I make metalcore, alternative metal and djent. Inspired by Tim's vids I'm starting out the journey of doing-music-fulltime. I've been thinking of a few questions, could use some help from the community - let me know what y'all think. 1) I'm rebranding from a solo artist into a band that i'll be producing . I have a name in mind but no logo, visuals, bio etc. what's the minimal set of text and visual materials i need before it's ok to migrate my solo songs to the new brand and not look weird/unprofessional? 2) I'll be hiring musicians for tours but produce everything myself; what are some ideas for the banners and other visuals that usually have 3-4-5 band members, e.g. spotify/fb/yt banner? I was thinking generating 3 dudes with ai, in hoodies (so you can't see the faces) and photoshopping myself in, but that doesn't feel genuine. And if it's just me in the photo, it doesn't feel great either since I want this to be perceived as a band. Appreciate y'all's ideas. Also, can someone thing of examples of projects that worked around this issue?
Upscaling Images for Free
I found this website that works well if you need to make images a higher resolution and don't want to pay for a tool to do it. https://www.stickermule.com/upscale
AI for album artwork
What do you all think about using AI art for album artwork? I have a bunch of friends who have done it and I myself. I’m going to do it for some releases if it makes sense and looks good. What are your thoughts?
