Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh I'm Lays, 22 years old, ethnically syrian, currently living in France I stepped into sales as a means to escape the 9-to-5 life that usually awaits after university, a path that would only make it harder to avoid the fitnah of the west and make hijrah to the muslim lands. Moreover, alhamdulillah, as you probably know, the war in Syria has ended, and now that sanctions are being lifted, investment opportunities are expected to grow. I have connections willing to invest there, and I hope to be part of that game if Allah allows me to live until then But first things first, I'm currently an appointment setter, helping service-based businesses fill their calendars. My goal, in shaa Allah, is to eventually launch my own agency. I want to connect with same-minded brothers and exchange values in order to make a fruitful tijarah by the will of Allah. Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh bismillah, let me start 1) Tawakkul The only One you can fully place your trust in is Allah Without tawakkul, nothing will truly give you peace 2) Knowledge before speech and action Never give up seeking ilm Make sure your income is halal Learn the fiqh of transactions (let me know in the comments if you need help with that, there are many free ressources) Stay connected to a scholar or a qualified student of knowledge, don't rely on laymen Knowledge before speech and action is not optional, it is foundational 3) Ikhlas, sincerity Purify your intention, do this for the sake of Allah, not ego or dunya Remember why you're on this path, for example : Hijrah to the muslim lands Helping your family Marriage, after learning its fiqh (let me know if you need ressources for this as well) and its perspective in islam Supporting orphans Giving to charity etc Now, about taking the means: 4) Hunger to learn You need to be able to leverage your skills and actively seek rizq, it won't come through wishful thinking 5) Network Surround yourself with like-minded brothers who want khayr, find mentors, role-models, this is how you will stay strong and grow in shaa Allah The mic is yours now, drop some gems 🎤💎
