Para mí, resulta invaluable cuando un hablante nativo se toma el tiempo de explicarme las oraciones paso a paso, ayudarme a entender lo que dice y enseñarme palabras nuevas.

@Gary Cooper Vaya, qué afirmación tan contundente y tan cierta... La reflexión ayuda en la práctica, en el crecimiento y en el aprendizaje. A raíz de escucharte, voy a empezar a grabarme y a revisar mi progreso.
¿A qué te dedicas?
Okay here's a writing/speaking challenge for those who are up for it! Let's practice describing what we do for work in as much detail as possible en español! You may choose to either write it down or record a voice note sharing what you do for a living.

Ahora estoy jubilado, pero mi trabajo anterior consistía en ser asesor tecnológico para docentes en un importante sistema escolar. Mi labor era aprender a utilizar nuevas aplicaciones y equipos para luego enseñar a otras personas a manejarlos.

Para mí, escuchar, escuchar y seguir escuchando —mejorando un poco cada semana— es la clave para entender cómo debo responder.
🧠 Pronunciation Tip!
Here's a helpful tip I just shared with my students and I feel that it will be helpul for the community as well! As long as you can pronounce your vowel sounds effectively, and you understand how to pair them with each consonant, you will be able to enhance your pronunciation a great deal! Tip 1: Vowels in Spanish ALWAYS sound the same! Spanish is a phonetic language- so you can trust the that how you see it is how it's pronounced for the most part! However, this is only effective if you know how to pronounce the letters correctly. Let's start with Spanish vowel practice. Las Vocales: Vowels A = Ahh (like in father) E = Ehh (like in bed) I = EEE (like in bee) O = OH (as in sow) U = OOO (as in glue) Now, try pairing each consonant with each vowel and pronounce the pairings aloud. For example: with "b", say "bah, beh, bee, boh, boo" (ba, be, bi, bo, bu). Tip 2: There are exceptions to this rule so we must be aware! With "C" - it makes a "k" sound before "a,o,u"- so it sounds like "Ka, Ko, Ku". However, before "e" and "i" it changes to an "s" sound. So "Ce" and "Ci" sounds like "se" and "si". Basically, the "C" before "e" and "i" make the same sound as "s". *Now if you're in Spain - "C" before "e" and "i" sounds like "th"- more on that later! In a similar fashion, the "g" before "e" and "i" sounds like "heh" & "hee", while with the other vowels it's the regular "g" sound - "ga, go, gu" *think baby speak Practice with a voice recording and let me know in the comments if this is helpful!

No estoy de acuerdo. Probablemente, los signos sean la parte más importante del español. Al menos para mí.
