I need to get Daisy a “Service Dog in Training” harness. Where did you all get them and/or what brands do you prefer? Links to products/websites for bonus points!!! Thanks!

Mission 3 Day 12 Ranger - Loading in different vehicles
Ranger loads differently into my car and his dad’s car. (Dads in the trunk since we don’t have a cover for his backseat yet and mine into my backseat with his seatbelt) Since he loads differently into each car, I thought it would be good to post to show multiple ways of loading a fur baby into a car. Although we always take my car since Ranger prefers it and it’s safer. Plus for some reason he loves sitting like a person and looking out the window 💕

We’re lucky in that Daisy likes to go in any car. Since she was a pup (today’s her birthday and she’s 4 years old!) my hubby took her to get coffee and a pup-cup, my (adult) daughter took her on errands, I took her to Lowe’s, etc. We all use different cars 🚗 🚙 🐶 so Daisy got used to lots of different options.
Mission 3, Day 5 with Daisy (beach time!)
We’re still doing training throughout the day, but taking a break and headed to the beach for a little walk. Daisy likes to find crab holes and dig for crabs 🦀. Unsuccessfully, of course :) We always fill the holes in so no one trips, but it’s one of her favorite past-times! 🏖️ 🌊 🐶

Mission 3, Day 3 with Daisy (“with me”)
So after chatting with Amanda about Daisy‘s loose walking with me. I’m gonna change the phrasing from heel (because it’s not a true heel), to “with me.” I’m not going to use the word heel until we’ve gotten through the spot training and she’s doing a true heel. I think she’ll be fine with the phrasing change since she’s pretty attentive and often figures out what I want even without the verbal cue (by my body language). At the end of the video, I have her jump up on my shoulders and that’s how we take selfies :-)

@Amanda Taulborg Thanks!! I appreciate all your suggestions and comments. Daisy knows a lot because of my home training, but I don’t have the experience you do. It feels really good to take my “loose” training and use your knowledge and advice to really solidify and clarify it for both Daisy and me. 😀👍🐶

@Julie Kelley Thanks! We do it all the time.
Chess the trained Service Dog 🐕‍🦺
What does a trained service dog actually look like while navigating public? 🐕‍🦺 This video demonstrates some of the most commonly used service dog behaviors used during public access training and everyday outings: 🐾 Heel — walking calmly next to the handler 🐾 Wait — patiently waiting until there is room to move forward 🐾 Sit 🐾 Stand 🐾 Down 🐾 Back Up 🐾 Leave It 🐾 Rear-end awareness — make tighter turns in crowded spaces 🐾 Free Dog! — released from working/training time and free to relax and just be a dog

@Amanda Taulborg We take Daisy out in public all the time. The east coast is very dog-friendly. Daisy behaves pretty similar to what you’re showing in the video when she’s out in public and on leash. In fact, she tends to stay even closer to me in public than she does at home. If we take her out this weekend, I’ll have my husband record a video so you can take a look and give us some feedback or suggestions. 😊
