How to pick a cost seg company
Hey everyone, I am looking to do a cost seg study for my 2025 tax filings and have had conversations with 3 companies: Seneca Cost Segregation, R.E Cost Seg and Remote Cost Seg. Does anyone have experience with any of these companies and/or is there any other ones I should check out before making my decision. Looking to make a decision in the next week or so to ensure my report comes back in time for an April 15th filing

I’ve recently used RE cost seg. They are very slow. It’s been two months and I’m still waiting on my reports. I have also used Yonah Weiss in the past and they cost more but did a great job and had study back to me fast.

Cost seg study & future improvements
If I do a cost seg study in 2026 on a new property purchase and then in 2027 add an inground pool and/or putting green etc how are those deducted? Do I need to do another cost seg? Or should I wait till do cost seg till following year?
