I am a firm believer that when we write down our goals, we become more clear and motivated. When we SHARE our goals, we become more accountable. And the best part is that you'll get encouragement to stay on track! I do have a whole course on goal setting that will be up sometime, but for now, let's just start with some specific goals. I'd pick one to three goals from each of the pillars of MENTAL (movement, emotions, nutrition, time management, aspirations [you are here now], and lifeline [who's in your crew?]) - Make it small. Seriously. Make it something that you could sneeze and it would happen. - Make it specific: time, amount, detail, due date etc - Come back in a week and update with a new post! I am so excited to see what you guys are so capable of accomplishing. This also helps me to support the group better! Here we goal! (Yes. Yes I did that)

My goal this week is to be more present in the moments. This is a small step towards a lager goal of better overall balance (work, life, relationships, parenting) Always multi tasking has taken the joy out of life. Missing moments that could have been beautiful lasting memories.

@Dana Andrews best tool for me is dedicated time frames. After school to before bedtime is dedicated parenting time. No work. Hard truth to swallow came when my daughter hid my phone so I couldn't say "after this email" when she wanted to me to participate in craft time. SITTING IN THE SAME ROOM ISN'T BEING PRESENT!!!! We need to unplug, disconnect and be fully present for our tiny humans. She didn't want to just "do crafts" she wanted to spend time with mommy and create together. I now try to keep my phone in the other room when doing activites together so I'm not tempted to respond to any communications.
