Day 3 - WOW
thank you @Vickie Helm for using my work on addiction as an example. That's exactly what I was taught about alcohol - it's sold to us everywhere in Western Society. It's SO aligned - you've opened up that I can help anyone with any addiction. I teach that it's NOT your fault, but it IS your responsibility. Nobody is powerless. I feel incredibly inspired!

I think I'm going to shift my marketing to addiction - my expertise is in alcohol . . . but it's all the same brain patterns.
Taking it in -
I did the videos in the Lifeboat Biz challenge to finish the pre-work. I LOVE the idea of community coming first - In my work helping others overcome addiction, community is SO helpful. I'm good at sharing how awful my life was when I was drinking too much, but people will relate more to their peers who are in the middle like they are. I'm excited to explore possibilities - and love the idea of connecting AWAY from social media (the political stuff and the ads are hard for me - so is the "everything's great" vibe. I prefer reality - it's relatable and makes it easier to connect.

@Karen Saxe Thank you so much!
Blown away -
I just completed the Mini Wealth Blueprint videos - I didn't understand most of it - AND know that I'm in the right place with the right community. I get that from the parts I did comprehend. I love the possibility thinking and awareness that will bulletproof my baby business. I'm really excited to learn more and start implementing! Thanks @Vickie Helm for all this. And thanks @Victoria Rader for the introduction!
October - Build Your Lifeboat Business Contest Announcement
This October, we’re putting empowerment into action. One woman in our community will win $100 in seed capital to launch her very own Skool community — one of the the first steps to building her Lifeboat Business. Here’s how it works: 1. Watch the daily "Build Your Lifeboat" training videos located in the Classroom. 2. ✨ Share your lifeboat business idea in a post inside this group. Use the category "Build Your Lifeboat Contest" so we can find your post. We need just a paragraph or two about the business or community you’d love to start — no formal business plan needed. 3. 💬 Our community will show support by liking and commenting on the ideas that inspire them most. 4. 👑 The idea with the most engagement by October 31 will win $100 in start-up capital to launch her Skool community. This isn’t about perfection. It’s about possibility. 🌱 👉 So if you’ve ever thought: “I’d love to start something of my own, but I don’t know where to begin…” — this is your moment. Let’s rise together, vote for each other, and help one woman take her first sovereign step into entrepreneurship. Comment below if you are in!

Love the thought about focusing on possibility over perfection. I sometimes think about doing B- work. A's were great in school but it slows you down in life!

@Karen Saxe I was a really good student AND - it's taking conscious effort to shift. Maybe we could think about winning by getting it out there - That's the "A+" grade we think having it done "perfectly" will give us. . . I'm pondering - I have also practiced laughing at my mistakes - which allows others to relate to us and like us. Can you be perfectly imperfect and perfectly human?
Not Every Healer Is a Healer — Yet
Not everyone who calls themselves a healer truly is. True healing comes from authenticity, alignment and experience — it shows in results, sustainability and integrity. If someone seems more focused on appearances, money or borrowing others’ methods or money, it’s a sign to pause and reflect before following. Your energy is precious — invest it where authenticity meets action. Sometimes people who call themselves healers aren’t healers in the way they think. The pull towards healing can be strong but often it’s guiding us to work on our own growth first. If this path hasn’t sustained you or helped you fully step into being a healer after years, it might be a sign that your calling was for your OWN HEALING, not to lead or heal others. True healing comes when your energy, experience and alignment naturally support others — until then, the journey is first about yourself. True healers don’t just survive — they THRIVE. Their work is aligned, sustainable and abundant, not hand-to-mouth. If you’re reading this and calling yourself a healer or if you’re following someone in this community you believe to be a healer, take a moment to reflect. True healing comes from authenticity, alignment and consistent practice. The purpose of this post is not to defame anyone but to gently remind those who may not be fully aligned with this path to focus on their most authentic, aligned work instead.

Interesting thread - thank you for sharing. I help people find freedom from addiction - I think it's mostly about holding space and loving them into healing themselves, peeling back the layers of coping mechanisms that don't work. It's all about the love.
