POST SOME ART...just because.
I have been feeling a little more drained, a little more blue recently. My intuition says to rest.....forever, but I also know I want to love and nurture my community. I am thinking about bringing back SIP and SPARK in a different capacity or at least playing around with the ideas that YOU want, not just what I think you might want. lol I am being really honest here that I need some help to keep the flame lit. Attached are some of my recent pieces as a reflect it looks like my mind is really looking for space and answers. I'd love to see some of your art, whatever that is. What do your recent creative pieces say to you?

Overcoming fear, is it a thing?
Fear…is normal. Creativity is magic. I have been thinking a lot about my own fears with creativity, how to be visible, to be authentic and share my ideas without fear. So I did some research, can I overcome fear? I’ve been taking a lot of time making sure my body is regulated, safe and “ready” to create. Sometimes, I need to just start, before I’m 100%. I have been playing around with how I can share my findings and if they resonate with others. Let me know what you fear…

As much as i tell myself now I don't care what people think. Deep down I do worry about being judged or not living up to expectations or worry about if i say something wrong and if I do what will people think of me? Will they think less. Its a vulnerable act putting yourself and your creations out there and I still struggle with these thoughts at the back of my mind.

Thanks @Jenny Landis for the session replay. The live was on at 11pm my time and I was in bed. As I facilitate and hold space for others in my work. I have not spent an hour making art for my own practice for a while, so it was a good reminder to thank myself for showing up to do this today 🙏 attached is my neurographic piece. Start, middle and final work.
Hello 👋
I'm Laura - an Australian artist living in Thailand with my husband and fur baby Jasper. I always dreamt of living close to the beach and now I do! I enjoy drinking strong coffee - picked this up from travelling through Vietnam... I am also fond of a cup of tea, some of my favs at the moment are: Earl Grey, Jasmine Green and the occasional matcha or Thai lemon ice tea. I really love chatting with other artists and creatives I think they live the most interesting lives! It seems like the space for that here. In a more official capacity I am a holistic integrated creative art therapist and creative coach. I recently run a women's retreat in Vietnam that was so heartwarming and soul nourishing.

@Chris Bak and you too. The initiative your friends started sounds great 👍 I haven't ventured up north yet but it's definitely on the list!
Expressing with crayons
Here is a recent work I did using my favourite crayons. Caran d'ache Neocolor - anyone else have these too? What started out as red loops over the page ended up in dynamic scribbles. I definitely scribbles my worries away and got lost in this moment.
