Hi, everyone! I'm new to email marketing for my business(es) and this community has been so helpful to get out of my head and just do it. Honestly, I’m really proud of this. My Leadership Lab Skook is only 2 weeks old, still private, and we’re already at 94 members with 88% engagement. No huge launch.No fancy ads.No massive strategy. Just consistent conversations, real connection, and creating a space people actually want to be part of. I care much more about depth than vanity numbers. A smaller community with real engagement will always matter more to me than a large room full of silence. This reminded me that you do not need thousands of people.You need the right people. Small steps. Real momentum. That’s where the juicy part happens.

Unfortunately, having that duality in my business can make it hard to choose how to approach having an email list which makes it hard to scale and not rely on my own 1:1 time to help more people and make more money. I believe I'm going to focus on my indie author clients but I also love writing and want to keep doing that too. Feeling stuck and also hella inspired all the time feels like getting stuck in a pinwheel that won't turn. But I'm here. I'm doing the thing. So went from 20 people in my mailing list to 273! Only two sales yet (and one asked for a refund as the program is not fully finished). I stil feel it is still the movement in the right direction! :-) And scheduled my 2 nurture emails for this week as planned. Now I feel more motivated and also more scared, as more people will be reading these emails (hopefully lol)
