Thank you still learning I will refer some people
Which is better?
Do podcasts work on Skool? Meaning would it work well if I post audio only content in the classroom in a podcast format? (Just audio in a video). I’m thinking about adding this to one of my businesses. Or is it better to set up on an actual podcast platform?

I think this is a great idea if the class is set up like podcast style and people know it will only be audio. I am in a community that does this for audio books
It’s been 8 years
I’ve been working on a business that involves me writing books and promoting the books of others but I’m not successfully gaining awareness of my business or gaining customers. I don’t know if the problem is in presentation, the fact that I don’t have a following, or the fact that I haven’t had the finances to advertise (even tiny ads (though I think I’ve done 2 or 3 mini ads totaling about maybe $40 towards them)). Outreach, marketing, and networking have definitely been my weak points. Because of this, I haven’t truly been able to test if my business is viable (though others have been successful). I’m hoping being on Skool will help. I have to at least first get the people to me to know if it works. It’s been 8 years. Any suggestions? Should I keep going with the idea? I have a few children’s books , a novel, and a friend who has a lot of books who I promote. I’m working on other books now. I just began to build a community for this yesterday. I did get a little feedback on it already. https://www.skool.com/sunjoy-books-7017/about

Hi Stacee. I first just want to say that I appreciate your resilience To keep going although you have found the journey challenging. A few things from my perspective about your community: 1. I love the name Sun Joy Books but your logo is flat. It didn’t draw in users or say Hey look at me. 2. Your business isnt sticking to people because it doesn’t speak to anyone: who is your target audience…. Tailor your message to speak to them. That’s how you find your niche. Your niche is people who will listen to you come into your community because of like mindedness or interest but your target market is who will purchase from you. 3. When I go into your classroom I’m instantly greeted with paywalls but nothing on your about page or in your community tab tells me why you’re worth spending money with. I suggest giving a little for free so ppl can see what you do. 4. Promoting your friends books is very kind but stop. You can’t build your brand when you’re building your friends. If your friend is a true friend and business owner they will respect you taking time to focus on building your own brand, promoting your books and building your community.

OMG First this post is such a GREAT idea to keep clutter down in the community. Hello everyone my name is LaToya. I created the Gem Vault Community.... and another community but under another profile so when I reintroduce myself with that profile please do not be alarmed I am not cloned or a scammer but I own SEVERAL businesses and to keep my books clean I take separation very seriously. My Gem Vault is owned by my consulting business Ethel's Gem General Consulting LLC. It is a small part of a large ecosystem as there are many things I have built for this business. I am really looking forward to being roasted and will be making my post soon. Thanks again for having me

📢 How to win roaster of the week
Every week there is a competition in this community to choose the one that gives the most helpful comments in the roast requests. 📌 And as a prize, he/she will get a pinned post with their links and description of their offers right here at the top of the community for a whole week. The winner can DM me to add more details to the post if they want. I'm evaluating the winner based on this: - Quality: How well you wrote the roast, how well you interacted with the roasted and how helpful and respectful you were in general on the thread - Attention to detail: How much time you dedicated to actually go through the persons's stuff and review it, how detailed and technical was your review and the work you gave in the details. - Creativity / Originality: If you give unique responses for each person. Spamming the same answers, not adding much new to answers that other people already made, or always giving similar answers will get you penalized here. Quantity is also important, as you get points at each roasted thread. But low effort spaming will not add any points. To give a chance to everybody, you can only win once every month!
