Should I know how to flip reset at diamond?

I sometimes struggle with the pacing in matches, panicking when everything starts moving too fast and making big mistakes. Feel free to comment on what you do to help with this if you have the same problem. It'd be much appreciated!

I've played rocket league for like 3-4 years now. The first year or so i played on a Nintendo switch (controller). Than i stopped playing for like 2-3 years and kind of recently (like 2 months ago) started playing again, but this time on my kind of new pc (kbm). So currently I'm way better on kbm and has forgotten completely how to play on controller but a while ago i bought a controller for my pc for other reasons than rocket league. So now i have a good controller i just don't know if its worth the switch? I'm basically wondering if controller is so much better/easier that its worth spending extra time on relearning how to play with a controller?
