I never imagined fitness would become my passion. As a child, I had asthma, and in my 20s, pregnancies and the demands of life led to significant weight gain. While my husband and I were planting our church in Colorado, we were involved in a serious car accident that changed my perspective. I realized my health was holding me back from healing well and from keeping up with the people and purpose God had called me to. I began attending group fitness classes and quickly fell in love with the energy, encouragement, and community they provided. Fitness became more than a workout—it became a lifestyle that helped me feel stronger, healthier, and better equipped to serve as a wife, mom, homeschool mom, and pastor’s wife. After adopting two boys and then welcoming a surprise baby at age 41, I gained 60 pounds. I decided to stop waiting for the “right time” and commit to my health. Through consistent exercise, sustainable nutrition, and the support of great coaches, I lost those 60 pounds and discovered a new calling: helping others experience the same transformation. Today, I’m a mom of six, Group Fitness Instructor, BodyPump and Cycle Instructor, Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, and I’m currently working toward my Certified Personal Trainer certification. I believe fitness is about so much more than appearance. It’s about building strength for everyday life, nourishing your body well, and creating the energy to enjoy your family, fulfill your purpose, and lead by example. My passion is helping others realize it’s never too late to become stronger and healthier than they ever thought possible.
