Challenge 5: The Lie of Inadequacy
Notice what you consume that quietly feeds feelings of inadequacy. Name it. Now, choose one boundary of protection for your mind, your heart, and/or your time. Remember, you are enough! 💜

I am often consumed by thoughts of leaving things undone. When tasks are incomplete, I work myself to exhaustion, then sometimes feel inadequate if I don't finish. I have learned that the work is never done and there will always be more, so I am learning to give myself grace.

@Jaimis Ulrich This is so on point. Thank you.
Challenge 4: Noticing “enough”
Think of the word enough. Say it in your mind or out-loud. Notice where the word “enough” lives in your body. Does it feel tight, heavy, distant? Or calm and open? From that awareness, write a definition of “enough” that creates space to breathe, rest, and belong. Name one practice that supports this truth in your daily life. If you don’t have one, write one that will. For example: I don’t have a steady practice yet, but I am choosing one now. Each night, I will name three moments from the day that reminded me I am supported, even in small ways. This will help train my mind to notice care where it already exists. Or A practice that supports this truth for me is pausing to drink a full glass of water as soon as I wake up. It is a simple act of care that tells my body and mind, you matter enough to be nourished first. That reminder shapes the tone of everything that follows.

Enough is peace of mind.
Challenge 6: Stop saying "sorry"
Pay attention to unnecessary apologies. Before saying “sorry,” pause and ask: Have I actually done harm, or have I simply taken up space? We do not need to apologize for asking questions, or for simply existing. Remember, you/we are not a disturbance in the world, but co-creators in making the world a better place while disrupting systems that do not honor your/our shared humanity.

@Sandra Harris these are great alternatives.
Challenge 7: Rest without "Earning" it
If you are listening to my podcast, you might notice that these challenges are a compliment to what I am teaching/sharing. Today, our challenge is to rest without "earning" it. Imagine rest, as a lived experience of worth that requires nothing in return. You, we, deserve rest. We aren't required to earn it. We do not need to produce to the extent of exhaustion to finally "earn" rest. The body needs rest. The brain needs rest. We need rest. It is not a luxury, but a necessity. A basic human need. One, that you can give to yourself. Rest easy my friends!

Trying to be more intentional about rest.
Doom Scrolling vs Bloom Scrolling
If you haven’t noticed, our community has categories of topics listed at the top. I will be including a new category that will be the opposite of doom scrolling. I am calling this space “bloom” scrolling. The intention is to have a space to watch things that are light, funny, inspiring, or just too cute not to post. Feel free to share the posts that make you feel good there too! I mean, If we’re gonna scroll, let’s bloom instead of doom. 😉 Reminder, if you haven’t downloaded the app, you can find it in the App Store under Skool. If you want to invite your friends to our community, feel free to share the link below! https://www.skool.com/metaphysics-hypnotherapy-7179/about?ref=251b3a9beb414d9a834d578b7a78e1ce Happy scrolling!
