Just a little win!
After having a major setback with a bit of a medical “glitch”. 🫣 I’ve been keeping things fairly simple and listening to my body. Believe me do not ignore even the smallest warning sign that something is not right. I’m not a bench warmer and boy has it been hard to keep that bench warm. Well tonight I felt the best I have since the “glitch” and decided to be an idiot and go for a run. 😬🤪 Just a slow paced one to get the old blood pumper going, to clear the head of all that has happened in the few weeks, and get my mental health into a good place again (aka the memory dump). Well that run turned into a 10.5km run, I only set out to do a few kms just to take it easy and get to my happy place. Those 10kms felt easy and I had a lot left in the tank surprisingly. I was just in my only little world doing what I enjoy. Ending the week on a high! Stay strong, stay motivated and never second guess yourself. You can achieve great things with the right mindset.

@Jd Byrne just taking things as they come. I haven’t glitched again but it’s a waiting game until I can get the all clear.
Morning motivation.
Good Morning all, The past week has seen me hit a pretty hard hurdle, things just took a dramatic halt. I’ve had to try and go slow in my training (I’m so not a bench warmer and it’s bloody hard). But have not stopped, just modified. A healthy mindset and taking in the world around you as it comes. Never take the small things for granted. Keep pushing forward, and don’t let a set back stop you dead in your tracks.

@Jd Byrne it’s one step at a time. Unfortunately medical has me under so many restrictions it’s not funny. I’m still getting out and doing things just not at the intensity as I would prefer. And not being able to drive anywhere restricts me getting to the gym.
Getting it done no matter the outcome!
After a little medical whoopies, and getting the clearance to go for a light run. I took to the streets for some quality mental health me time. My path was not chosen or laid out in advance it was a wing it and just follow the breeze. Had to have a little giggle when I opened the map when I got home. As it’s 100% how I’m coping with the “whoopies”
