New MCP server
Has anyone found a way to use the new MCP server connection to debug localhosted workflows with the cloud version of Claude or Chat GPT? How did you manage to solve it?

@Tobias Rosén hi. What are using to interact with the flow and how? I use vs code and provide and api token to my instance. Keep token active (expire) in 4-5 hours. I explain the issue in vs code to Claude and Claude pulls down my entire flow and provides insight on plausible problems. Granted it does at times go down wrong path, but if you are specific in what node (s) are problematic it normally does a great job in helping fix the issue. Claude now has N8N structure knowledge on nodes, which nodes do what, and more importantly I have found that it some nodes like different syntax to work properly. Hope this helped a little.
n8n v2.0 just dropped! Here's How to Update Your Self-Hosted Instance
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to update your self hosted n8n to be able to access this pre-release v2.0.0 of n8n! Don't take the risk of guessing, follow along with me and I'll help make sure you do it right the first time! Also, worried about losing your workflows you've worked so hard to build? I know I was, so I went ahead and built a backup and restore system so you can have peace when you go to update your server. Stay tuned for more videos going over the update and other releases!

@Tanner Woodrum , i just ran it and it worked great.. i honestly struggled for a bit with backing n8n up, and being able to keep creds and flows, etc.. together. This honestly worked without no issues, and all 145 flows went right back, did not delete any, but... I do have a question, and might test on blank new n8n instance, can this be used from scratch? just install restore node, and let it run and now have another instance of my n8n? (guess maybe a bit dumb there) :)
