Certification Program?
Good morning, I thought I saw something about an upcoming certification program and commented on it. Is that a thing? I can't find the post. I'm looking at different certifications for CE and if @Phil Daru has one coming out I'll wait for that one. We got hit with some severe weather that left a lot of my area without power for a month so my memory is lagging at the moment lol.

Exercise Substitutions
Good morning, I'm working my way through The Grind program, and have a bicep/shoulder injury. I replaced battle ropes with tsunami bar for the 45/15 circuit. Is this an acceptable replacement? The ropes cause sharp pain going up into the shoulder.

Coaches who work mostly with your everyday 40-60 year old people who are just trying to get back in shape and live a healthier life, what has been your experience translating what you've learned here to that population. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to expanding my coaching skills and tools to better serve my clients.

Hi, I've been a personal trainer, nutrition coach, and health coach for almost a decade now. Me and my wife run a business together. I coach mostly older adults and specialize in behavior change and getting your everyday person who has struggled with their identity around health and Fitness to a healthier place. I've been doing Jiu jitsu for 8 years and filipino martial arts for 4. I want to learn more about the sports performance side of things both for myself and for my clients. Adding some sports performance to my roster would reinvigorate my coaching and help me fight off burnout as a coach. Also I want to be a force of nature on those mats lol.

Prepare yourself for the day when motivation fails you. Have a plan written down for what you can and will accomplish on your worst day. Be realistic and honest about it. Consider time, energy, and mindset in this plan. Once you have a solid floor (foundation) you can climb as high as you want. Looking forward to seeing that first UFC walkout.
