Natural Supplements for ADHD
So much information swirling in Social Media about what to do Naturally to help with ADHD. I often see people posting on message boards and natural health groups, "take this", or "research said that", and the volume of info is dizzying. I have put together a guide that breaks down the research, based on strongest to least, as it stands in independent research and published/peer reviewed documents. I think it is important to point out that everyone's body is different, and that different nutritional deficiencies', therefore the solutions will vary, there is no one-size fits all; we need to investigate through trial and error what will work for our unique needs. The beauty part of this list and the desire to try natural supplements is that no matter what effects it may/may not have on our ADHD, we are still reaping the benefits of those supplements in other areas of our health. I have not yet heard of a downside to having adequate levels of Omega 3's or Zinc, Magnesium, etc. Not one of these are purported to be an overnight cure to what ails us, as natural supplements are addressing deficiencies in our cells and 1-day of taking a supplement is not going to "cure" that deficiency. All of these options take time; time to rebuild levels that may previously be lacking. Pharmaceutical drugs are manufactured and formulated to target symptoms, not solve the underlying issues that create the symptom, so have patience when trying supplements, as these are being used to find the cause and correct it, preventing the symptoms in the first place. This process of finding solutions to a cause take far more patience than masking effects. Read my guide to get more information and give yourself research based starting points.

Amway=scam way?
Does Amway sell 100% natural products? Do they lie in their ads?

What I have found in my research, is that their products were as promoted, quality, origin, nutrients. But... Amway is am MLM, which is technically legal,a network of sales distributors that have levels of people above and below all sharing a chunk of the sales. This causes a higher price to consumer, and profits heavy to higher levels, with the hustling lower levels under stress to hit goals that determine what amount/if they get a cut. I have some experience with MLMs and I personally find them to be unfair and bordering on deceitful practice. I would not promote doing business with an MLM org.

@Daniel Dunn so you know all about it.
Amway
Our new member Daniel asked about Amway, if they are legitimate. Here are my thoughts. Amway seems to carry legitimate products that have a good reputation for quality. My issue is the business model, formatted as an MLM. For those unfamiliar the MLM structure is layers and each layer is financially motivated to build a lower layer, that consequently makes less money from the sale, or none of they don't hit goals. The MLM structure has some winners and many losers, and when we boil it all down, the markup rate to keep that process going makes the prices to consumer unnaturally high. One of the most sought after product lines from Amway is their supplements, for quality and testing. I have researched other companies with similar standards and quality, without supporting the MLM business format and lower cost to consumer. "Thorne Research", "Pure Encapsulations" have high standard testing and certifications as well. I would do my research on high quality brands that focus on minimal processing, Ingredient quality standards, and transparency. Educate yourself about MLMs like Amway & Melaleuca, determine whether you are comfortable with their business format.
🤔 Collagen Myth-Busted! 🤔
Think collagen powder goes straight to your skin? Think again! 🤯 The wellness industry often misleads us. When you consume collagen products, your body doesn't magically absorb it whole. It breaks down the protein just like a piece of chicken or a bean, turning it into individual amino acids (like Glycine and Proline). Here’s the truth about building healthy collagen: - 💥 Digestion 101: Your body absorbs building blocks, not whole "collagen." These blocks are sent wherever needed most—muscles, enzymes, or joints. - 🍎 Whole Foods Win: You don't need expensive powders to build collagen! High-quality protein sources provide the exact same precursors. - 💪 Better Health, Naturally: Eating nutrient-dense foods (like skin-on chicken, fish, and legumes) with "activators" (Vitamin C, Zinc) provides a superior, comprehensive toolkit for natural synthesis and overall wellness. My guide proves you can build collagen just as well, if not better, through real food. Ditch the unnecessary processed products! ✅ Goto my Classroom for my guide on eating the right foods to boost your body's natural collagen production! 📄✨ #CollagenMyths #NutritionFacts #WholeFoodHealing #Biohacking #HealthySkin #JointHealth #EatRealFood #WellnessTips #CollagenBuilding #NaturalHealth #MealPrep #ScienceBacked
