Hey Artists, A couple of days ago, I asked what your biggest tree painting struggles arecand wow, the response blew me away. Over 60 votes in the poll here, plus over 100 email replies from my list. Hey Artists I hope you're having a great weekend. I thought I would show you what I am working on right now (see the video below). I'm working on a new painting project and want to show you some of the process. This is also a scene I have painted before, for which there is a painting tutorial in Sam's Art School and the VIP tier here in the Painters Hub. I painted this in 2021, and whilst I was happy with it, I always felt I could have done better. Recently, I stumbled across my reference photos again and thought, "I wonder what this painting would look like if I painted it again." Sometimes I paint landscapes I have painted before because I like to see where I have come from and how much I have progressed in that time. This is one of those paintings.
