Choose Our Live Training Topic
📊 What Would Help You Most Right Now? I’m planning an upcoming live training for our community, and I want to make sure it focuses on what would be most valuable for you and your family. Which topic would you most like support with? 1️⃣ Helping my teen or young adult find direction and motivation 2️⃣ Building executive functioning, routines, and follow-through 3️⃣ Reducing conflict and improving communication at home 4️⃣ Preparing for employment 5️⃣ Building confidence, emotional regulation, and resilience 6️⃣ Helping my child spend less time gaming or online 7️⃣ Creating a clear step-by-step independence plan Vote for the topic that feels most important right now. And if your biggest challenge is not listed, add it in the comments. Your answers will help shape the training so it gives you practical strategies you can begin using immediately.

@Blake Baumann All very good questions. I’m also autistic and structure and predictability is so important to us. What time will they need to wake up by? She will need to wake up by 6 which is going to be a huge change. We have begun working on this but we are still navigating through it. She has trouble sleeping and waking early isn’t easy. She’s committed to trying though. Does their current sleep routine support consistency around the school day? No not at all right now. What parts of the morning or evening are most likely to cause stress or conflict? With Kaylyn, leaving at the exact same time every single day is the most important part of her day. This will be our biggest obstacle by far. Does my daughter have a space to decompress without demands? We are lucky that my niece is a teacher at her school so she is able to eat lunch in her class and also go to her classroom if she needs to decompress. We have been working on her IEP and they have been so generous with us. She will be able to leave a few minutes early from each class so the halls do not stress her out as well. I’m looking forward to getting some helpful advice and guidance from this group. I’m so thankful to have been invited.
