How do I get leads on LinkedIn? 🚀
I have a decent profile on LinkedIn and am connected with many talented people. My connections could have helped me land an awesome remote job, but I changed my mind and started my agency, leveraging my special expertise. 😉🍁 Now, I'm confused about how to grow my business on LinkedIn. Should I create a LinkedIn Page and operate everything from there, or should I start a LinkedIn Newsletter?😇😇

@Tahmid Emam If you’re running two businesses, I’d still definitely focus on your personal profile instead of trying to actively grow two separate company pages. In B2B, people connect with people, not brands and they want to buy from you, not just some logo. But honestly, if you're at the point of running two agencies, you should already have social media managers handling things like LinkedIn. That shouldn’t even be on your plate. Your focus should be on bigger-picture stuff, growth, strategy, and leadership and not managing posts. So unless you’re already there, why run two agencies? I know people who made it work, but only because their first agency was so mature & well-structured that it basically ran itself. They had solid systems in place, and their managers could scale the business without them being too involved. Trying to pull that off too soon can—and will—do more harm than good unless you have some genius plan behind it.

@Tahmid Emam Cool, in this case, if you’re starting out, definitely focus on one thing at a time. That’s a much better idea. Glad I could help! And no need for the formalities, we’re all learning here. 😄 As for your niche, I don’t know this industry too well, but I like the concept. Niches are a huge topic that we could discuss for hours, but the general rule is: the more specific, the better. If you position yourself as the go-to expert for this, it could work really well. 🤞

Hey Dudes, Like Jakob said, we’re working on some new content for this community - videos, a free course, and everything about transitioning from dev → freelancer → agency owner. Basically, sharing everything we’ve figured out (often the hard way) so far. Not sure if all of you have seen our older videos, so here’s YouTube Playlist 🎥, it’s got all the business-related stuff we’ve ever recorded in one place. What’s cool about this is that some of these go back to 2021, so you can really see how things have changed over time. At the start, it was all about Upwork/freelancing/landing first clients, and just figuring out how to make this whole thing work. As the agency matured, now it’s more about company culture, systems, and scaling properly. 💼 And when you compare them, notice how much older Jakob looks now to see what a few years of entrepreneurship does to a guy. 👴 Anyway, it’s kinda like a time capsule, so no matter where you’re at, there’s something useful in there. Check it out, and if there’s anything missing, let us know what topics you wanna see next :)

Intro Post from Jakob Wolitzki 👋
Hey everyone, welcome to Agency Dudes! I'm super excited to launch this community, which is exactly the kind of support network I wished for when I started my own custom software agency, Deltologic. For those who might know me from YouTube or Instagram, I've been sharing my journey of building Deltologic over the past five years. Now, I feel ready to share the experiences and insights I've gained to help you start or scale your own service company. Whether you're a freelancer looking to grow into an agency or you're already running one, no matter if it's an AI automation, software, low-code/no-code, or design agency, I'm here to help. Along with my Co-Founder, Kris Krokos, we have big plans for this project, including launching bi-weekly Q&A sessions and more... 🤫 Feel free to introduce yourselves below, and let's get started on this journey together! 🙌

Hey everyone! Super excited for this project and to connect with all of you. 🤝 I run Deltologic with Jakob, and while I’m involved in pretty much everything, I mostly focus on business development and operations. Always down to chat about anything agency-related, especially when it comes to sales, legal stuff, hiring, operations, and all the behind-the-scenes systems that keep things running smoothly.
