Why Do Money Conversations Make Everyone Go Quiet?
Have you ever noticed that the moment money comes up in a conversation, things suddenly get quiet? People stop commenting, avoid sharing, and sometimes they disappear from the thread entirely. I’ve seen it happen again and again inside communities, and it makes me wonder why. Is it the fear of being exposed, the embarrassment that comes with being in debt, or the worry that someone might realize you don’t actually have it all figured out? Money has a way of touching a nerve most of us were never taught how to regulate. So riddle me this… why do you think people go quiet when money enters the conversation? Let’s talk about it. Share your take below ⬇️ When money stress feels like your brain is firing in every direction, you’re not imagining it. That reaction is real, and it’s one of the reasons so many people avoid talking about money in the first place. Which is exactly why we’re opening up that conversation tomorrow. Inside Wilder Profits, in collaboration with Self-Worth Sisters and Becoming 2026, we’re hosting 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬: 𝐀 𝐍𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐭, featuring @Lisa Drennon of The $mell of Money. Together we’ll be exploring why money stress hits the body the way it does, and how calming the nervous system can help you start making grounded financial decisions instead of reacting from panic. If you’re tired of letting money get on your last nerve, it might be time to learn how to calm that nerve down. Register and join us tomorrow 👉 https://www.wilderprofits.com/moneytalks

As a Christian, I hate talking about money because although I've always had great pastors, I think about the stereotypical televangelists who ask for money all the time, supposedly for the ministry, but use it to buy mansions and yachts. It also makes me feel like a used car salesman

Have an outline and don't know how to write it out into a full post, poem, book, script, or song? Have something written or in progress and need an experienced second pair of eyes to help catch and correct mistakes? I'd be happy to help. I'm a Christian writer and musician (written word and song), available to help you by ghostwriting or editing your Christian (or clean secular) post, poetry, narrative/instructional prose, script, or music. I received high marks for writing and informally tested out of 1 of the required 2 semesters of English composition. I've also written many scripts, songs, and poems and have received professional training in narrative writing. I can't teach you what I've learned from a proprietary curriculum, but I can use it myself when editing or ghostwriting for you.

@Heather Boers you're welcome
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
Turns out… it also makes burned-out entrepreneurs. As small business owners, building passive income, working from home, and squeezing business hours into all the time slots we can… you already know the pressure to always be doing. Always posting, always building, always optimizing and always thinking about the next step. Literally ALWAYS on! You already know that the most sustainable businesses are built by people who remember how to live... how to play! And today is Saturday ... so 👇 What’s something you do purely for joy that has nothing to do with productivity, building or business? How do you PLAY? Bonus points if you can share a photo!

Spending time with my lovely girlfriend. We live several hours apart and won't be together in person until probably the week after next, but we still communicate daily and treasure that time

More than half of you are still parked at Level 1… and that tells me one thing: you’re still playing it safe in the lobby. But, you don’t get recruited by staying on the bench, you don’t get seen by staying quiet and you don’t win by watching. ... 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗜𝗡! And, fun little fact, members who bring someone with them into Skool tend to see 3x the results because growth loves company. So share your referral link and invite your people in! If you don't know where to find your unique referral link (that has the potential to pay you back) check out the graphic below. So let’s make this simple and fun... just comment on this post. That single move is your ticket out of Level 1 and into the game. Share what you have to offer .. and heck! Let's have a free for all! Share your links! This thread is open for business for 12 hours only! Comment AND participate by commenting on others and giving them a like as well! You've got 12 hours! I’ll be watching who shows up. 𝗪𝗵𝗼’𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻? 👀🔥

@Heather Boers whoops! Yes, I saw that when I checked after making my comment, but thank you. I thought I had filled that out. That's my next important order of business for the community!

@Abigail Ringger great, and thanks! I'll also be following you and looking forward to what you create! What kind of writing do you most love to do? Oh, and I love the publishing name Rock of Ages!
