I started working on your reference with charcoal. I always feel I start rendering too early. Like if I don't have the little shadow the cheek starts looking to wide. Your method of constantly angle checking is one of the most efficient but I still get tricked time to time thinking my blocking is good 🤣

@Kai Lun Qu thanks, I will try, I have struggled a bit with those smaller shapes because of my charcoal stick being new and I haven't sharpened it. They are good quality. Before the mistake I used to do was to press to hard to get clear shapes and strong darks, currently I am happy that it's all very lightly put and even the softest bush could write it all away to light range. I'll push it more try to move back to blocking it and share once I'm happy with blocking
