For me, anything that I cooked at home and didn’t come from a package.
Introduce Yourself
Hi everyone, welcome to Bravemunity. I'm so glad you're here. I'll go first. My grandkids used to eat almost nothing green, and dinner some nights felt like a negotiation nobody was winning. We are changing a few things, nothing drastic, just small consistent steps, and now they are trying to try something new each time we are together. One thing my grandkids love: fresh fruit, any color, any shape, they're in. One thing they still hate: broccoli, we're working on it. Family activity we love: we play a silly word chain game in the car, one person says a fruit or vegetable, the next person has to think of one starting with the last letter. It gets loud and competitive fast. When my own kids were little, we played beachball baseball in our tiny backyard, home plate was a brick, and somehow every game ended with someone falling in the grass laughing. Now it's your turn. Introduce yourself, share one food your child loves and one they can't stand, and tell us a fun family activity you all enjoy together. I can't wait to get to know each of you.

Hello, Kimber here 👋 I am currently living abroad in Japan with my husband and one year old daughter. My diet has changed a lot since moving. It has been interesting to eat cuisine different from what I am used to, and learning new recipes has been fun. Now as a mother, I am learning all new things about how to feed my child as well. Of course she loves bananas, many babies do, but she also enjoys rice, sweet potato, onions, and tofu too. I am curious to see how her taste develops as she gets older!

@Deb Spotleson I like tamagoyaki. It’s fried rolled egg. It’s easy to make and easy to cook and tastes different from scrambled eggs and boiled eggs which are often in my daily routine. I like to eat it when i want eggs but something different from the regular.
Missing Food
Has food randomly disappeared off your kids plates? It happened with my grandson, he didn't want his hamburger and it suddenly disappeared. I asked him "did you eat it?", honest 3 year olds "no I gave it to Dixie" their german shepard.

Yes, but I can usually find it on the floor 😂 My daughter will start throwing food off her high chair. I think she is either playing or full, so I take it away, if she cries for it I give it back and she will usually continue eating, and if not, I toss it because I trust that she is full.
What’s for dinner!
What did you have tonight? I just came off a 24 hour fast so had a light meal of scrambled eggs and salted caramel yogurt. Random fact I eat pickles every night, my favorite brand is grillos!

I had curry with potatoes, carrots, onion and chicken. It’s easy to make and tastes so good, pretty healthy too 👍 Baby had something different since I am not ready to give her curry. It’s okay though because she really enjoyed her veggies, noodles and blueberries instead ❤️
