@Gina DeMarco what a beautiful portrait! Very nice and detailed! I made this one yesterday, with a mirror next to the painting. Apparently I was very serious in observing myself.

@Gina DeMarco thanks! I believe the expression comes easier when working with a mirror than from a photo. And it forces myself to be less perfectionistic.

Hi everyone, I’m Kim from Amsterdam. I suppose I always liked to be creative, but when I had some difficulties to go through in life I realized how much creating art helped me to heal. Besides my daily job, I’m studying art and growing into a holistic visual artist. And hopefully making a switch to a fulltime art profession in the near future.
