It’s Monday, the start of a brand new week. Too many people dread this day, but here’s the truth: Monday sets the pace for everything that follows. When I was competing as a Gladiator, Mondays weren’t “slow starts”, they were the foundation. Training, discipline, and mindset began the second the week kicked off. If I wasted it, I fell behind. 💡 Here’s your challenge today: - Do one thing that gets your body moving. Even 20 push-ups or a walk. - Do one thing for your mind. Write down a goal for this week. - Do one thing for your soul. Message someone with encouragement. I’ll be real with you… there were days I didn’t think I’d make it out.
I’d wake up with my head full of regret, my body wrecked, and that voice in my mind telling me, ‘Just give in, it’s easier. But here’s the truth....every time I fought back, even when it was messy, even when I slipped, I was building something inside me: discipline, grit, self-respect. Now, I’m not perfect. I still hear that voice some days. The difference is ..... I don’t let it control me anymore. I was alone, sitting in the dark, feeling like I had hit rock bottom. I wanted nothing more than to give in to old habits, the ones that always promised relief but left me broken. My mind was screaming, my body shaking, and all I could feel was shame. But that night I made a choice. Not to be perfect, not to have all the answers, but just to take one small step forward, even if it was messy. That tiny step became the start of my reset. I’ve shared part of my shadow tonight, now I want to hear from you. 💬 Comment below: What’s the hardest, lowest, or darkest moment you’ve faced? No judgment, this is a safe space. Just share so we can all see we’re not alone.

Rock bottom for me was waking up at a bus stop on the outskirts of Birmingham not knowing what happened or how i got there. All night bender where i had left my brother and gone off on my own. No money, cards blocked, kindness of a bus driver got me back to the city and my hotel. From then i decided this was not how i wanted to live or be and it has changed me for the better forever.

Before checking your phone, do this: 1. 2 minutes of deep breathing = focus on your body and clearing your mind. 2. 10 push ups OR 1-minute plank = get the blood flowing. 3. Write 1 intention for the day = something you WILL do no matter what. 💬 Comment DONE when you complete it = let’s see who owns their morning!

Rest day for me, gotta rest and recharge for more muscle pump tomorrow. 1 intention for me is to share my rock bottom moment which made me move the dial.
