Hello all! I am an Executive Recruiter for Manufactured Housing. One skill I want to sharpen is my ability to quickly recognize who actually understands the business so I can be separate from a general property-management recruiter. I want to continue digging beyond titles and asking about things like community size, occupancy, home sales, infill, collections, P&L responsibility, capex, acquisitions, turnarounds, resident relations, multi-site leadership, and state-specific operations. Another skill worth sharpening is passive candidate sourcing. MH is a relationship-heavy, relatively tight industry. Building a strong network before I have an opening means that when a client says, “I need a Regional Manager in Texas,” I already know who to call.
