I actually used all of mine. I added the kicker for extra money. I used the old gi bill even though the post 911 was an option. I used all 36 months and then get t an extra year of the post 911 after that. I helped quite a bit, but didn't go through all of my graduate program. I wish I knew when I was getting my associates and bachelor's degree to not use it for these programs entirely as it would have helped significantly more later on when tuition was so much more. It was still worth the $1800 I put in during the first year and a half I served.

Thank you for adding me. I really am thankful to find others that are interested in financial literacy as I did not get much growing up or from anybody in the service with me. Everyone I knew kept saying, just work harder. I would like to understand how to earn money that sets me up for success.
Hello. My name is Kiel (pronounced Kyle), and I served in the Air Force for 4 years. My goals are to transition from a W2 employee, to a business owner so I can eventually have more time freedom. I enjoy what I am doing currently, but I work 50+ hours a week now and I would like to have better control of my time/schedule. Thanks
