My God, this place is dead! 😂
Seriously, where is everyone? Where’s the excitement, the enthusiasm, the activity? Compared to Cycle 2, when this place was buzzing with activity, it’s like a ghost town around here now. 👻 So I’m genuinely wondering… Is everyone so busy working on their projects that they’re about to blow us away with some absolute masterpieces? Or is there simply a lack of enthusiasm and participation this time around? One thing’s for sure: it’s ridiculously quiet in here! No matter what gets posted, there’s barely any interaction. Aside from @Jeremy Lee it feels like nobody’s around! 😆 Come on, people! Where’s that Cycle 2 energy? 🔥

PhoenixWire — Send a payment like you send a message
Hi everyone! Here’s a first look at PhoenixWire, the project I’m preparing PhoenixWire grew out of PhoenixMail, my email application. After integrating Nimiq Cashlinks into emails, I wanted to go further: protect a payment with a verification code sent to the recipient’s email. Then came a slightly crazy idea: could we bring that experience to NIM, USDC and USDT? That became PhoenixWire. One payment. One card. One email. Choose a currency, enter an amount and the recipient’s email, fund the card, and send it. The recipient opens the card, confirms their email with a six-digit code, and chooses where to receive the funds. The card link alone isn’t enough to claim a protected payment. For NIM, you can fund your card directly from Nimiq Pay or Nimiq Wallet, and the recipient can receive their NIM directly into either one. PhoenixWire supports: - NIM on Nimiq. - USDC on Polygon. - USDT on Polygon or Ethereum. The sender can also recover the funds while the payment remains unclaimed. A small preview of the cards Here are two examples of the actual NIM and USDC cards: Explore PhoenixWire https://phoenixmail.ca/#phoenixwire It’s still a work in progress, and the protected claim process relies on the verification service and email delivery. The goal is simple: make sending crypto feel familiar, with Nimiq’s Cashlink experience at the heart of the idea. I’d love to hear your thoughts! ( Open public test soon ) Yep, I changed my mind — I’ll be joining Cycle 3 after all, as soon as the registration page is working again! ;) Was it the prize money, boredom, or just a little madness? Maybe a bit of all three… who knows? ;)

I would love to congratulate you on this wonderful work first 🤩 I have some questions you might have answers to, if possible ofcourse : How do you handle POL gas for USDT on Polygon inside Nimiq Pay, and is the window.ethereum address the same one that holds the wallet’s USDT? Thanks in advance and good luck !
Quick technical question for the Nimiq team or anyone who tested EVM in mini apps 🙏
1. Inside a mini app, is the address returned by window.ethereum (eth_requestAccounts) the same address that holds the user's USDT in Nimiq Pay? 2. Is that USDT the Polygon contract 0xc2132D05D31c914a87C6611C10748AEb04B58e8F (USDT0)? 3. Do mini app contract calls (e.g. approve + supply on Aave) need POL from the user, or is there any gas sponsorship available to mini apps? Thanks in advance !

🔥 The Reply-Guy Challenge is back for Cycle 3!
Throughout the entire competition, we're rewarding 4 builders every week with $25 USDC each for the value they bring to our community. That's $400 USDC in rewards for builders who go beyond working on their own Mini Apps and help others succeed too. Here's what counts: 💬 Helping on Skool: Answer questions, share useful feedback, and help other builders work through problems. 🧪 Testing Mini Apps: Keep an eye out for a new Skool channel dedicated to testing Mini Apps and helping builders improve. 🎙️ Showing up to Sip & Ship: Attend our weekly community calls, demo your Mini App, and participate in discussions. 🤝 Being an active community member: Contribute to meaningful conversations here and engage with @Nimiq and @miniappscomp on X. ℹ️ Quality and helpfulness matter most. We're not rewarding spam, generic comments, or engagement for the sake of engagement. We want to recognize the builders who genuinely help others test, improve, and ship their Mini Apps. Keep building, and don't forget to help the people building alongside you! 💪
