Need help
I started two YouTube channels for the Indian audience in May. One a serious one and the other as a hobby to learn to record videos talking about life experiences. Ironically, the hobby channel is blowing up because of a couple of videos. So I'm thinking of going fulltime on that now since people seem to resonate. I'm considering building a community on Skool (free at the start) from the YouTube viewers/subscribers. And later provide more value via free courses, pdfs, etc. Maybe then think about turning it into a paid subscription once it gathers sufficient members. I already have the YouTube to Skool program that I can use for this. @Brian O'Neill What do you think about this? I'm also overwhelmed on where to start. There are so many threads here and in the YouTube to Skool community right now.

@Brian O'Neill Thanks. Yes, I just saw it. I'll work on this today.
🟢 Something new just went live
If you have a YouTube channel with a real audience and you have not made a dollar from it yet, this is for you. I just opened YouTube to Skool. It is a $47 community built specifically for established experts who already have the YouTube audience. The subscribers. The email list. The decades of experience. And none of it is paying them yet. You know who you are. Maybe you are a musician. A therapist. A consultant. A tradesperson. Someone who has spent 20 or 30 years getting really good at something, built a YouTube channel around it, and still has not figured out how to turn that audience into recurring revenue. That is exactly who I built this for. On May 27 I am running the first live workshop inside the community. How to Get Your First 10 Paying Members from the YouTube Audience You Already Have. 90 minutes. Live. You bring your situation. I diagnose it on the spot. Here is the thing I want to be upfront about. I am building this community out in real time. You will watch me do it the same way I always do. Validate first. Build after. The people who get in now get founders pricing and get to help shape what gets built. This is $47 one time. Lifetime access. Every workshop I run going forward is included. Ads are launching this week. You are seeing this first. If this is you or you know someone this is for, the link is below. skool.com/youtubetoskool - Brian P.S. This is a one time investment for instant access. Not a monthly subscription.

@Brian O'Neill I'm still considering this because of the $47 lifetime offer. Because by the time I might need this, it may cost more or become a monthly fee? TBH, I have no idea whether my YouTube channels can even build a community or audience willing to pay. But your ideas/experience might be useful just in general on how to do the marketing/sales/copywriting part of it to get people to sign up/open their wallets. Thinking about it.

Coaching vs Courses vs Digital Products - Which One Fits YOUR Skills Best?
One of the biggest reasons people stay stuck is simple. They don’t know which type of online business actually fits them. So they spend months bouncing between ideas…trying a little coaching, watching a few course videos, testing a digital product…and never getting traction with any of them. Here’s the simplest way to think about the 3 most common online business models and how to know which one is right for YOU: 1️⃣ Coaching (1:1 or group) Best for you if you: - Like talking to people - Enjoy teaching or guiding step-by-step - Want the fastest path to your first customer - Don’t mind being on Zoom Avoid this if you hate being “on stage.” 2️⃣ Online Courses Best for you if you: - Prefer to teach once and let people learn on their own - Have a process you can break into steps - Want something scalable without adding more hours - Like creating videos or structured lessons Avoid this if you struggle to organize your thoughts. 3️⃣ Digital Products (PDFs, templates, guides) Best for you if you: - Want something simple and fast to launch - Prefer writing over talking - Have repeatable knowledge you can package - Don’t want to be on camera Avoid this if you want deep 1:1 interaction. 👇 POLL: Which one feels like the best fit for YOUR skills and personality? (Coaching / Courses / Digital Products) After you vote, drop a comment: What made you choose that option? I’ll reply and help you narrow it down.

I'm not sure. Because what I wanted to do is get my first ecom email copywriting/marketing client. So it does not fall into any of these categories. Maybe coaching is the closest because I need to outreach/talk to potential leads and provide value.

@Brian O'Neill Yes, In my mini video audits, I do exactly that. Offer to do work for free. I don't even ask for testimonials. Just offering to help them get more sales from their emails.

@Brian O'Neill Yes. Right now, the problem is no one has taken me up on this offer.
