Do it like you love it...
Well, I didn't get to record much cause it got pretty busy tonight but,.... Got some cardio work in, the first 20 minutes I timed it cause I wanted to see how far I could get in that time, ( 2.97 miles, 25 degree incline). Then I did another 2.5 miles alternating between unilateral and bilateral farmers carries with 55lb. kettlebells. Then some push work startin with weighted dips superset with T-bar rows, ( I usually do a pull movement to balance against the push work, and it helps with pain management in my thoracic spine due to an old injury). Then moved to bear crawl incline pushups on kettlebells to add a stability challenge, again superset with kb gorilla rows and kb clean n press. Then moved to superset machine flyes and reverse machine flyes. Then I managed to sneak some core work with the medicine ball but, it got pretty crowded so I had to raincheck the rest for tomorrow's session,.... ✌️

Also like to add, I usually am an advocate for running outside on real ground but, we're having a serious haze issue right now cause of Indonesia burning their palm crops and it's causing allot of respiratory issues with the public so, for now I just balance hitting the muscle groups missed by putting the mill at 25-45 degree incline depending on what I'm doing... ✌️

Google is okay if you wanna look up research studies but,... If you're following the right people on YouTube; most of them provide links to the research studies that they site so. Maybe it's cause I'm older but, when we wanted to know something, we had to go to the library and research what research there was, ( I know, I sound like the proverbial "grandpa", with the whole, " back in our day...",), but, in general, folks today don't do this, they just copy what they see that looks appealing, and even some ,"fitness", studies can be misleading nowadays, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the supplement industry. But anyways,...
Gotta get it somehow...
Okay, well I had to split my training in two today; as it goes.... Normally I almost always opt for compound, free weight movements that help with my mobility and power production but I strained my neck/ traps, and also my adductor/ groin training the other day so....( Plus I haven't slept yet from yesterday)...Not going as heavy as usual and opting for cable isolations and bodyweight movements where I can avoid stressing said areas as much as possible. Anyways, A little bit of a warm-up/ playing around with 10 rds on the bag, after that I didn't record much; it interferes with my rythm doing 2-4 movements in a circuit. I just make a habit of recording my bagwork so I can analyze myself. Mostly pull work and core stuff ie; landmine rotations, isolateral rotation press, etc... But anyway, not a bad day considering.
Gotta get it somehow...

Well, I haven't went through any of the training programs "perse", but, I've been using allot of the training exercises, practices, movements, etc... from your content on YouTube for the last couple of years now and it's helped tremendously, especially some of the reflex and rebound training involving my ankle, knee, and hip as I had pretty significant nerve damage due to an auto accident, ( got hit by a truck walking home one night in January 2012, Sub-Zero, ice, sleet, ..long story short I had to learn how to walk again and build back from there.) but anyway, I plugged in allot of your MMA/ combat content as I've been practicing boxing n martial arts since I was about 6. That and allot of your corrective exercises/ movements helped significantly. As of now, I'm jogging 10-15 miles a week, ( just managed 2.97 miles in 20 minutes the other day),.. I'm hitting almost 800lbs. On the reverse pendulum squat machine, ( I can't mechanical load too much on the barbell squat cause of some nerve damage in my neck and between my shoulder blades),... My overall strength and power endurance have elevated significantly as well.. Honestly I could keep going in detail but,.. plain n simple,... ALL of your training info, data, input, content, practices, that I've implemented have helped more than I can really express. You're a blessing to all of us who have found success in our training, be it physical, mental, spiritual. May you and yours be blessed in all aspects of your life and many more blessings for your future brother, InsyaAllah Aameen x3 🤲 👍. Assalamualaikum brother. Lead the way..
Let's Gooooo! MOUNTAINEERS,!!!!
Assalamualaikum and Good Morning everyone, well evening, ( I'm 12 hrs ahead of most of y'all probably). Pretty straight forward goals wise; trim down my bodyfat % while maintaining the muscle I've gained over the last 12 weeks, ( went from 90kg with 18% bodyfat to 101kg at 21% bodyfat)... Also looking to regain some of the sports performance I had before injuries, ( I'm ex-military, but mostly injuries I suffered from a truck accident; had to learn how to walk again). Been following Phil and using his techniques and methods for some time now and have had significant improvements across the board. Anyway, glad to be here and looking forward to more success. Lead the way!
