Tips and tricks for the king of all 5-note rolls
The dreaded C five note roll has already entered the chat!! (Roll starting with 3 finger on G string.) Hope this helps. Congrats to all who posted videos!

I have been watching her videos multiply times on you tube from her original one from 13 years ago to present. Jenny's version/ playing style is the one that i do like the best, you believe that her course is more then worth it? I am always skeptical of buying courses or instructors online. I have noticed that there are a lot of nuances and details that a lot of the you tube teachers leave out, ( like in bar 16 with the grace note before the e) i have been taking a little out of each of the videos that i have watched. Other then Jenny the only other person that has answered any of my questions was the fiddle channel guy but he was kind of grumpy and not too nice about answering any questions like i should know what i was doing kind of thing.

So the course is like having a weekly teacher that you pay monthly for? Is that the Daily lesson thing on jenny's site that is one dollar to start kind of thing or do you pay per?

Weekend video challenge!
Would you like to do the bravest thing there is and post a video of your current version to the group? Everyone here knows how violin is, so there's zero pressure to be perfect or even "good". This is just to mark a baseline and share the journey together. If you feel at all self conscious about your playing, put on a crazy hat before you hit record. I promise. It helps. Next week I'll show you a few of my tricks for making this piece more solid than before. Upload your video to a post, and then select "LOTM Works in Progress" from the menu shown in this picture. That will put all our versions there together.

that is exactly how mine sounds Michael I'm trying to figure out how to make it sound more like jenny especially from the c turn to the e turn

The question i have is that: I can do the 5 note roll, I can play the melody . I am having a hard time with the timing and blending it to sound like your playing.
