🍃 15 “RULES” FOR HUMAN EXPANSION
After 63 years of Lived Experience, I have some things to say: If you are younger than that you could: 1. Ignore the old fart and scroll by 🤭 2. Keep figuring it out for yourself 😳 3. Stop a while an note a W.A.P: Wisdom Access Point 🤗 I saw one of those posts today: “15 Rules to Become Unstoppable.” And the funny thing is, I agreed with quite a lot of it. Move your body. Keep learning. Protect your peace. Help others. Keep going. All good stuff. But one word kept bothering me: UNSTOPPABLE. Is that really what we’re trying to become? Because sometimes stopping is exactly the right thing to do. Sometimes we need to rest. Sometimes we need to listen to the critic, because underneath the noise there might be signal. Sometimes we need to admit we were wrong. Sometimes we need another human being. Sometimes we need to change direction. And sometimes the bravest thing we can do is let go. So I rewrote the rules. 😂 Not 15 Rules to Become Unstoppable. 15 Rules for Human Expansion. And then, inevitably, that produced another list: 15 Rules I Stopped Following to Become More Human. Because I’m becoming increasingly convinced that Human Expansion isn’t about endlessly adding more to ourselves. More discipline. More achievement. More optimisation. More productivity. Perhaps some of it is subtraction. Putting down expectations we’ve outgrown. Recognising what is already there. Choosing what still serves us. And making room for what comes next. PURPOSE → ACTION → REFLECTION → ADJUSTMENT → CONTRIBUTION I don’t particularly want to become unstoppable. I want to become more fully human. 🌿 What about you? What do you want to become?

POWER THROUGH PEOPLE: When Power Forgets People
🌍 POWER THROUGH PEOPLE: WHEN POWER FORGETS PEOPLE We sat down today to watch a dramatisation of the 1988 Lockerbie bombing. 270 human beings died. And something kept bothering me long after the television should have been switched off. Nearly 38 years later, justice is still pursuing individual human beings allegedly involved in that atrocity. But what happens when terrorism doesn’t originate with an isolated individual? What happens when the trail leads towards the machinery of a sovereign state? In 2003, Libya formally accepted responsibility for the actions of its officials in relation to Lockerbie, renounced terrorism and agreed compensation for victims’ families. Yet our international criminal architecture remains far better at placing individual human beings in the dock than placing sovereign power itself there. And that took my thinking backwards. Past Lockerbie. Past 9/11 and the 2,977 innocent people murdered there. Back to World War II. Some 70–85 million human beings died. Soldiers became expendable. Civilians became expendable. Entire populations became expendable. And from the ashes of that catastrophe humanity created the United Nations. Its Charter didn’t begin: WE THE GOVERNMENTS. It began: WE THE PEOPLES. Its founding promise was extraordinary: to save future generations from war, reaffirm fundamental human rights and the dignity and worth of the human person, and establish conditions in which justice and international law could be maintained. But here’s the paradox I’ve been sitting with today. We the peoples created an international system that ultimately has to operate through sovereign states. The very states whose power that system sometimes needs to restrain. The UN Charter recognises their sovereign equality while simultaneously requiring them to settle disputes peacefully and refrain from the threat or use of force against other states. So more than 80 years after World War II, perhaps one of humanity’s unfinished questions is this:

POWER THROUGH PEOPLE: When Power Forgets People
I am new here and was asked to introduce myself...
Hi everyone, I'm Michèle St.Amour (yes, my real name, LOLOL, not a stage one), also known as SpiritMoonWalker, Medicine Woman of Indigenous descent. I live in a self-sustainable off-grid home on top of a mountain, of course!! LOLOL, part of the year in the Laurentians of Canada, and come winter, we drive nine days down to the Yucatán in Mexico, where we live on the beach and sail our boat, a bluewater ocean-going sailboat named Magic Dragon (yes, that's her real name too, straight out of Treasure Island... who writes this stuff?? LOLOL — and given that I teach mastering your own inner dragon power, the irony is not lost on me), across the oceans with our three rescue dogs in tow. I run the Chakaura™ Institute of S.O.U.L., one of the only initiate schools teaching the higher science of the structure of the Soul, the Chakaura™, and its essence, which is Love energy (hence the name reference, in case that wasn't obvious enough already 😄). I just released my first album, Your Soul Knows, which sits nicely alongside my novel, published in 2016, Chakaura: Awakening the Muse — a story for these times, written for these times, apparently before these times even arrived. I've spent 25 years working with subtle energy, applied quantum physics, and Soul consciousness. Fair warning: I have an awful sense of humor, believe self-honesty and laughing at one's own hiccups is the key to becoming, and I say it as it is. I will probably mention my dogs again before this week is out. Topics I love talking about: dimension jumping, miracle healings, life after death, aliens, superpowers, gardening, music, dance, food, and books (I'm a certified book nerd). Basically, if it's slightly unbelievable and deeply real at the same time, count me in. If any of that sounds even slightly intriguing rather than terrifying, we're probably going to get along just fine. Looking forward to meeting people of like mind here 🙏 Oshtalo....

@Michèle - SpiritMoonWalker C. St.Amour Michèle, it’s lovely to see the fuller introduction behind the reflections we’ve been sharing. I have to admit, an off-grid mountain home, winters on a sailboat called Magic Dragon, and three rescue dogs sounds like a life that has accumulated more than a few stories! What has stood out to me most, though, isn’t where you’ve lived or what you’ve studied. It’s the consistency of your willingness to explore deeply while remaining genuinely curious. Whether we’re talking about consciousness, creativity, or what it means to become more fully ourselves, you always seem to invite dialogue rather than demand agreement. I appreciate that. Congratulations, too, on releasing Your Soul Knows. As someone who has also discovered that music can carry ideas and emotions in ways conversation sometimes can’t, I wish you every success with it. Looking forward to many more thought-provoking conversations. And yes, I fully expect the dogs to become regular characters in the story! 🙏

@Michèle - SpiritMoonWalker C. St.Amour Michèle, I think you’ve touched on something important there: “certainty closes a life, and curiosity opens one.” That line resonated with me because, over the years, I’ve found that some of the biggest shifts in my own thinking haven’t come from finding better answers. They’ve come from asking better questions, and being willing to let those questions reshape me. I suspect that’s why we’ve enjoyed these exchanges so much. We don’t have to arrive at identical conclusions to learn from one another. Curiosity creates enough space for different perspectives to illuminate different parts of the same landscape. I’m looking forward to seeing where this community takes all of us. And I have no doubt Magic Dragon and the three rescue dogs will become some of its best-known members before long! 😄🙏
Consciousness, As I've Come to Know It
For most of my life I was taught consciousness was a mind state. Something you reach through thought, through effort, through getting quiet enough to touch it. I have spent 25 years sitting across from people in real crisis, and that taught me otherwise. I began to recognize that consciousness isn't something the mind produces and in fact has nothing to do with the mind except that the mind can block consciousness. It's a state of presence, so subtle that it cannot be recognized in any traditional manner.. It's not even a presence, it simply is and it is the essence of the Soul itself, and the mind is just where it shows up once it's found a way through. In me it doesn't feel like thought at all. It feels like the void; i cannot feel it for it has no weight. I cannot think it for it has no intellect.. it is pure presence beyond the mind... Like something ancient standing behind my own eyes, steady, unmoved by whatever is happening around me. When it's fully present, I noticed my energy is high, my senses sharpen, my intuition is right on and I know things before I can explain how I know them. It isn't a feeling I chase. It's a feeling I return to. I began to notice: when that presence is blocked, life feels like static. Searching. Repeating the same patterns. Working hard at things that never quite land. When it isn't blocked, nothing outside of you needs to change for things to shift, because the shift was never out there to begin with. That's the piece I keep coming back to. Not raising vibration as an event, but restoring a connection that got broken, disconnected, or bypassed along the way. One that can be rebuilt. What does consciousness feel like when it's actually present in you, not just thought about?

Michèle, what resonates most with me is your distinction between chasing a state and returning to one. I don’t know whether I’d define consciousness in exactly the same way, but I do recognise that experience of coming home to something quieter that was never actually absent, only obscured. Over the years I’ve found that when my mind becomes crowded, it isn’t usually because consciousness has disappeared. It’s because noise has become louder than signal. When the noise settles, I don’t necessarily feel “more intelligent.” I feel more congruent. Thoughts, emotions and actions begin pointing in the same direction, and decisions seem to require less force. For me, consciousness feels less like acquiring something new and more like remembering something true. Not remembering facts, but remembering how to be. That makes me wonder whether the real practice isn’t expanding consciousness at all. Perhaps it’s gradually removing whatever prevents us from recognising what has been quietly present all along.

@Michèle - SpiritMoonWalker C. St.Amour Michèle, thank you. I really appreciate the care with which you make that distinction. I think we’re pointing towards the same landscape from slightly different places. I wasn’t trying to suggest consciousness itself comes and goes. More that my capacity to notice or live in harmony with it seems to fluctuate. The signal may always be present, but my reception certainly isn’t. Your point that consciousness doesn’t require my recognition in order to be true is a profound one. It reminds me that reality isn’t dependent on my awareness of it. My awareness simply changes my relationship with it. Perhaps that’s why these conversations matter so much. We each find language that helps another person notice something they may already have been living all along. Thank you for continuing to deepen the conversation. 🙏
