ColorCore HDPE Plastic
Decided to try out Cutting It Close Workshop, ColorCore HDPE Plastic. Here is a picture using the red, white, red 12" x 24" sheet. I used a 1/8" O Flute bit for all the carving. Mills very nice. CNC Machine: Altmill 4 x 4.

@Donald Claxton Thank you. I used a SpeTool W03002 bit. The recommend speeds and feeds was spindle 18000 and feed 36. I think the feed is really too slow, but I just used their feeds and speeds. The total milling time was 33 minutes.

I’m Ryan, the founder of this group and a passionate CNC entrepreneur. I’m super excited to have you all here. This community is all about helping each other grow, learn, and create with CNC machines—whether you’re just starting or looking to take your skills to the next level. Here’s a little about me: - I’ve been working with CNC machines for 10 years, building a business and helping others do the same. - My favorite thing about CNC is turning a simple design into a product that people love. - Fun fact: I love Bourbon and Tequila, and have over 100 bottles in my collection/stash Now it’s your turn! In the comments, let us know: - Your name and where you’re from - What stage are you at in your CNC journey (just starting, hobbyist, business owner, etc.)? - What you’re most excited to create or learn with CNC - A fun fact about yourself! Hello I'm Kerry I have be using a CNC for about 5 years. I built my first CNC out of wood. My second CNC I built is made out of aluminum extrusion, which I'm using now, measuring 28" x 48". I have ordered an Altmill from Sienci Labs. Currently waiting for the Altmill to arrive.
Altmill | Best Budget CNC?
We are currently adding a Altmill to our lineup of CNC’s to test and compare! Check them out! 👉 https://www.sienci.com/?ref=zte3ztn There will not be any upcoming sales on them, because they are, in my opinion, already a great deal. All in this far I am $2,500 less than my Onefinity Elite Foreman with a PWN Spindle at this point and I did not have to make a table. What is your opinion on this machine? Would love to hear feedback!
