Payoneer for saving conversion cost
For any non USA citizen, when we get our royalties, we pay conversion charges on the amount and when we spend in Amazon ads, we again pay conversion charges, and in both the cases, some bank forex charges are also applied. So I was looking for a solution where I can keep my royalties in local account and pay via this one for ads, this way I can avoid double conversion charges. While searching about it online, I found out about Payoneer, according to AI mode of Google search, this saves 7-9% or transaction costs. So I am curious to know if anyone uses Payoneer or any similar service.

Hi, @Shivam Sharma I don't know if my experience will still be helpful, but I'll share it anyway in case it helps someone else :) I've used Payoneer from the beginning to receive my royalties from KDP. Because I'm Mexican, I can't have a dollar or euro account, so the best option I found was Payoneer. However, there are a few things to keep in mind: 1. Amazon sends you the money in the currency of the sale, and Payoneer charges $1 per transaction. So, if Amazon sends $2.50 in royalties, Payoneer charges $1, leaving you with $1.50 in total. This isn't a big deal if you receive large royalties, but if they're small, it's practically not worth it. 2. In addition, Payoneer charges $29.95 annually for account management if you don't receive at least $6,000 throughout the year (if you receive that or more, they don't charge anything). 3. What you mentioned about paying for Amazon ads in the local currency (USD or euros) can be done with Payoneer. You just need to request a virtual or physical card in that currency, and that's it. What I do is have an account in each currency to receive my Amazon royalties in that currency, then transfer that money to the card, and use that account to pay for Amazon ads. This way, I save on currency conversion fees. However, there's a catch: Payoneer charges $29.95 annually for each card you have. Anyway, it's a bit of a hassle, but so far I haven't found a better option. I hope my experience helps. Cheers!
