Built Different Methods Proven!
Your particular higher reps and lighter weights is pretty much proven by a 60 day test with MRI, Dexa and other tests which prove the success of your methods. The Tester is Jeremy Ethier, President of Built with Science: https://fb.watch/IeL2hppETM/
Gained weight and I am done
I was in good shape 2 years ago, went into a depression and turned to alcohol. As we know that doesn't help depression in anyway. I packed on 60 pounds and February 26th rolled around and I threw my hands in the air and told myself enough is enough. I started training going to the gym 4-5 times a week and hoping for change. I go through some discouragement because I am not seeing any change on the scale and only slightly in my physique. But I remind myself it takes time. Sorry about this long post.

My body said otherwise.
I went back into the gym after a long layoff in my late 40s. I walked straight to the weights I used to lift. Grabbed them. Told myself I could handle it. My body said otherwise. That's the trap most men fall into. You remember what you were. You feel the energy coming back. And your ego convinces you to skip the process. I've watched it time and time again, guys come back fired up, overdo it the first week, and disappear for another six months because they can't move. The men who stick around? They come back humble. They start lighter than they think they need to. They focus on feeling the muscle, not moving the weight. That's not weakness. That's wisdom. And it's how you're still training at 60, 70, and beyond. What's the biggest mistake you made coming back to training after a break, and what would you tell your younger self? Drop it below. 👇

Check with your doctor, but consider taking 1200mg of Kyolic aged garlic capsules. A UCLA study run around 2014 found that it dramatically helped lower BP. It was a double blind randomized study (Gold Standard) covering a period of 12 weeks. Quite a few of the patients were able to eliminate their BP meds, others to greatly cut their dosages. I've been on it for 4 weeks. My cardiologist just removed one of my meds and cut a second one in half. Hopefully at the end of 12 weeks I'll be on none or the minimum dosage.Still able to do 3-4 day split with resistance bands.
STEAL THIS WORKOUT - Chest
No bench. No barbell. No ego. 1. Dumbbell Floor Press — 4x12-15 2. Dumbbell Squeeze Press — 3x15 3. Incline Push-Up — 3x15-20 4. Dumbbell Fly — 3x12 Rest 60-90 seconds between sets. Slow the negative down on every rep. If you're rushing, you're lifting too heavy. The full 3-month progressive program is inside premium. https://www.skool.com/built-different-life/plans Drop a 💪 when you've done it. I want to hear your thoughts. - Keith 💪

I don't know if you have any experience with 41" loop resistance bands. If you do, would you develop a program for that? I am 84, do not wish to go to commercial gyms, do not have dumbbells ($$$) or a weight bench. I have equipment from Clench Fitness Co (foot pad, handles, etc.). I presently do a 4 day split with bands. Medically I have a TAVR and Pacemaker and high BP. I'm trying to get my step count up to 7500, but stuck at 3500. Working with cardiologist. I can bench 130, but walking endurance is a chore. No joint problems.

Do you have any programs for resistance bands? I'm 83 and don't have any dumbbells or machine equipment, Present I do a 4 day split: upper/lower, upper/lower.
