The beginning.
Well, I got into my courses and I started doing it, and I'm about halfway through so we'll see how this works out. So far, it's just formatting Problems that I'm running into, all the devil in the details. But I'm enjoying it I hope everyone is doing well.
More Laptop Conversation
Apparently Maestro is no longer providing MacBook Air M4. They have pivoted to the MacBook Neo, which I am definitely concerned about. If you aren’t aware, the Neo uses the A18 chip and base model only provides 8gb of ram. This is less than what’s in my IPhone 17 pro max. Kind of disappointed as this is clearly a money saving initiative. The MacBook Air was perfect for what we are doing in regard to specs and cost to the university. Maybe I’m overreacting, but I don’t feel great about this. Let’s use this thread to chat once we start receiving our computers and maybe share what we are doing to make up for the lack of specs.

Always gotta be a catch when they actually were talking laptop. I thought they were serious, but I guess I'll buy my own sell that one or wait till I graduate then sell that one. I'm sure it'll be a nice paper weight by that point. That is very disappointing though, but from a business standpoint I guess it does make sense when in doubt go cheap.

Okay, I wish to apologize, but I guess I'm just a windows based person but when I found out exactly what that is, that thing is a web browser with a keyboard. but it's cool. I appreciate it. It's just not what I was expecting when I heard laptop.

Congratulations on that. I start April 6th, and I'm terrified and excited all at the same time. I'm doing a little online python tutorial right now, just so I don't go in and get blindsided. If I may ask you a question, did it start out from the scratch? And then build, or did it figure you needed a little bit of a database already. Just curious, thank you so much. Be safe. I'm glad that you got through your first one.
Today has been tough!
Today has been extra hard for me!! I don't know if it because the work was that much harder or if it is because my brother and SIL were in a head on collision wreck in Florida yesterday. My SIL is sore and banged up, my brother is in ICU in Miami. So being able to give 100% hasn't been easy today. Im tired my eyes burn and I hope everyone had a better go at today than I have. I may pop back on later depends. PEACE and LOVE bye for now

Life can get very rough. Sometimes, I've had a couple of instances where it was hard to hold my head up, but I appreciate you expressing and my thoughts are with you, and if you need anything for me personally, don't hesitate to ask even if it's just someone that you need to vent to, I'll be here.
April 6th Start date
Who else is starting in the April 6th Cohort? What degree(s) are you going for and what are you most excited for? I am going for AAS in Business Administration- Entrepreneurship & Innovation followed by a Bachelor's in Computer Science with a business focus. I am most excited for this experience as it is a new concept of learning/schooling and the growth that will come not just with myself but my business as well. Starting over is exciting and knowing that I am being an amazing role model for my children is a great feeling. By showing them it's never to late to better yourself in education and with a great partner anything is possible. My husband will be along side me with the first two years for the AAS and when we start our bachelor's we will be going in different paths. Here to the start of something amazing congratulations to everyone accepted and I hope this journey is as incredible as you are!

I start April 6th and I'm doing bachelors of science with business and AI haven't been back to school in 30 years. I'm excited and terrified all at the same time, I'm trying to do some python off the internet and just get my feet wet. So I don't feel quite as blindsided when I walk in, but so far everything looks good. I don't see any reason that I'm going to give up especially being. And I haven't even got to my first class. So if anyone wants to ask me questions, feel free to do it.The worst thing I can tell you is no I won't get upset.Thank you all I do appreciate you and read in the stories. Here has helped me tremendously already
