Thanks for explaining how it works!
Manipulation
You do not manipulate others. You change yourself. Neville said it clearly: "There is no one to change but self." Think about it. I have two children and I love them with everything I am. I am married, and in my eyes my husband is the best man in the world. That's why I chose to spend my life with him. But to you, the person reading this post, they are simply people you don't know. Even if you met them, you would never see them exactly as I do. Why? Because you would be looking through your lens, not mine. The same person can be loved by one, disliked by another, admired by one, ignored by another. The person didn't change. The perception did. This is what Neville was trying to teach. Your experience of people is filtered through your assumptions, beliefs, expectations, and the meaning you give them. When Neville spoke about changing self, he wasn't talking about controlling minds. He was talking about changing the lens through which you see the world. Change the lens, and the world you experience through it changes too. So before trying to change someone else, ask yourself: What am I assuming about them that I keep proving true?

Great teaching. Thank you. A situation I find myself in from time to time, is being around someone behaving badly and reaping difficulty due to it. I am tempted to talk with them about alternative perspectives and behaviors that would raise their consciousness and therefore make their life better. However, I also think about letting people be on their own path and learning at their own pace. ... and yes, I have enough work to do on myself, of course! 🤪 This situation at times feels conflicting for me. I want to assist others, but also don't want to interfere, or act like I have all the answers. So, I look for signs that they are seeking a solution (or actually ask for ideas) vs just venting their frustration or anger. Sometimes when it is repetitive, I decide to ask questions about other ways of being. This has mixed results, from welcoming the conversation to pushing back pretty hard. How do you handle these types of situations?
Awareness
Too many coaches. Too many techniques. Too many people selling the next "secret" to manifest your dream life. Sometimes it feels like manifestation has become a trend where people read one Neville Goddard book, repeat a few quotes, and suddenly position themselves as experts on how everyone should live. The problem isn't that people are sharing what worked for them. The problem is when personal experience gets presented as universal truth. Neville taught that consciousness is the only reality, but consciousness expresses itself through individuals. No two people have lived the same life, developed the same assumptions, or carry the same beliefs about themselves. What helps one person move into a new state may do very little for someone else. That's why blindly following every coach, technique, or trending method can leave people feeling confused, frustrated, and wondering why nothing is changing. Before you trust someone's advice, ask yourself a simple question: Do they understand the principle, or are they just repeating something they heard? Your life is too important to hand over your thinking to someone else. Learn, explore, test, and discover what actually changes your awareness. Because manifestation isn't about copying another person's process. It's about understanding your own.

Very true. How would one know if someone positioning themselves as a coach or a guru of manifestation understands the principles or is just repeating something they read or heard?

@Ioana Dobos Thank you. Makes sense.
There's no cage
You keep saying you feel stuck. Stuck in the same cycle. Same pain. Same results. Same excuses. But what if nobody is actually trapping you? What if you became so identified with struggle that you keep recreating it without realizing it? Neville Goddard said your assumptions become reality. That means the story you repeat about yourself is not harmless. It’s shaping your life. If deep down you keep assuming: “I never get what I want.” “Life is hard for me.” “Nothing changes.” then your mind keeps looking for proof and your world keeps reflecting it back. People want a new life while emotionally staying loyal to the old version of themselves. That’s why nothing changes. You don’t need another technique if every day you keep returning to the same identity that created the problem in the first place. So be honest with yourself: Are you truly trapped, or have you just become comfortable calling the cage home?
